Binding.- The Book of Common Prayer, ruled throughout in red, occasional spotting, contemporary red morocco, gilt, covers with central cipher of King George II flanked by trumpeting angels and 'Chapel Royal, St James's' stamped beneath, within wide borders of floral and small star tools, spine in compartments, each bearing cipher of George II within a horizontal diamond-shaped group of small stars and foliage borders, spine dulled and with some creasing, some staining, rubbed, 8vo (binding 224 x 146mm.), Cambridge, Joseph Bentham, 1759. sold as a binding and not subject to return.

dating: 19th Century provenance: Europe, Finely made with cylindrical, finished and engraved barrels, the upper equipped with fore-sight. Box-lock type mechanics with iron stock engraved with rinceaux, two rear cocks and foldaway triggers. Gilded, metal grip, engraved en suite and provided with suspension ring. In working order. In their case, lined with red Morocco leather outside and velvet and silk inside. Complete with tools decorated en suite with the pistol: two circular containers and a powder flask, all made in vermeil. Very scarce. length 4,8 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Micro-rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrels, with Liege test-bed stamp, fore-sight; tangs with rear sight and floral engravings. Forward spring locks, decorated en suite. Wooden stocks, one with a small restore, with checkered butts and embossed butt-plates. Iron mounts, decorated en suite. Iron ramrods. In their wooden case, covered with green cloth, with tools, old, irrelevant powder flask. length 28.5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: France, Rifled, two-stage, octagonal and round barrels, with traces of antique finishing, provided with fore-sight and marked on the back 'Portée G.tie 120 Metres'. Box-lock type frames, engraved with flowers. One cock is restored. Mechanics with foldaway triggers, in working order. Ebony butts with grooves. In an ebony case with brass mounts; lined with green cloth inside and some tools. length 19,5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Octagonal, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrels, in damask, marked '1' and '2', engraved base, fore-sight; forward spring locks, engraved with floral motifs, wooden, half stocks with fore-end cap embossed with a shell and grooved butts. Iron, engraved mounts. Set trigger. Internally marked with Liege test-bed stamp, '474' and '4748', 'D' and inside, on a release-plate 'G. J. F.'. In an antique case, irrelevant (of pistols of a higher quality) with tools. Cover with brass name-plate with monogram 'DA' under a count's crown. length 39 cm.

Dark wood, three quarters stocks, embossed with floral motifs and with grooved butts. Iron mounts, engraved, trigger-guards with finger support.In their briar-root case with brass mounts, borders decorated with floral motifs, foldaway handle with monogram 'PM'. Lined with velvet, compartment borders in red leather. Complete with all the tools and key. length 41
dating: Second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal. barrels, in damask, with fore-sight. Breeches numbered '1' and '2'. Tangs equipped with fix rear-sight, numbered as well, and engraved with flowers. Backward spring locks, signed 'F.NI PAR LEPAGE A PARIS', with plated and cocks engraved with flowers. Briar-root, half stocks (one with small crack and some small, restored block), with checkered grips and muzzles chiselled with a shell. Iron mounts. Trigger-guards with finger support, engraved with flowers and rocaille. In working order, one with cocks in position to be reviewed; adjustable triggers. Butt-plates with a thick, ebony frame and iron plate ending in a spider net. In a wooden, antique case, with brass plate on the cover, with inscription and date: 'Prix Donné par le Prince Royal. Mars 1837'. Lined with purple velvet inside (some sign of use and time), complete with various tools. length 39,5 cm.
A SET OF THREE GEORGIAN DESIGN BRASS FIRE TOOLS, comprising; tongs, shovel and poker, together with a pair of brass fire tool rests Condition report: overall condition is good. Two comments, the poker is a little out of true, bends slightly. The casting isn’t the best, a few blemishes in the making, design on shovel little indistinct.

A scarce boxed Mettoy #6259 tinplate County Fire Station. The tinplate two storey building measures approximately 48cm long, 22cm wide and 24cm high and has three spring operated folding doors to front and an open back which reveals three attractively lithographed rooms to the upper floor - a canteen, operations room and a workshop with a plastic staircase and a firemans pole linking the upper floor to the ground floor, the latter with a tiled floor printed design fir the parking of vehicles. The Fire Station is contained in a complete illustrated card box which also retains the Playcraft Toys (Swansea) shipping label to one end. Two flaps in the base of the box conceal the folded printed cardboard High Drill Tower which is a 46cm tall freestanding structure. Other contents comrpise original accessories supplied with the set including three boxed NFIC (Hong Kong) plastic vehicles - #3033 Karrier Ambulance, #892 Fire Chiefs Car and #891 Fire Truck which is a plastic copy of the Dinky Toys Commer Fire Engine, all of which appear G+/VG in generally VG boxes. The original Mettoy instruction sheet for the Fire Station (folded) is also included together with a plain carboard lidded box which contains various plastic accessories including 9 Fireman figures, 4 Tables, 9 red chairs and one white chair, a workbench, chimney and a small quantity of tools - vice, hammer etc. Although unchecked, the set would appear largely complete and generally G+/VG in G outer box.
