Stewart, Royal Highlanders, together with two letters from his civilian employer, Whyte, Thomson & Co., Nautical Instrument Makers, Glasgow. In one, dated December 1918, the company begs the release of Stewart from his military service owing to his skills as a specialist Compass Maker - and the "absolute shortage" of such tradespeople, required to fulfil the requirements of the Navy and Merchant Service. Also, a 1914 Star awarded to 35234 Gnr. G Robertson, Royal Field Artillery; Highland Light Infantry wall plaque, regimental horse brasses, framed prints, two penknives and a sgian dubh by J.
