Young RAF, comprising OBE military, with the original case and instructions, 1939-45 Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal, General Service Medal, George VI issue, with bar `Malaya` to `WG. CDR. T.G. RAF`, and 1937 Coronation Medal, mounted on a bar as worn, together with a copy of Statutes of the Order of the British Empire 1948, five corresponding dress miniature medals, a ribbon bar with an MID spray on the War Medal ribbon, an MID certificate for Distinguished Service, dated 1st January 1943, with OHMS envelope, RAF cloth wings, six badges including RAF wings, four large and two small RFC buttons, four large and two small RAF blazer buttons, a threepence 1908, a Flying Log Book from 5/10/34 to 21/03/1950, a black and white photograph of the recipient shown wearing the 1937 Coronation Medal, an RAF jacket and trousers showing his entitlement to six medal ribbons with MID spray, RAF wings above and brass buttons, an RAF officer`s hat, a civilian bowler hat, an RAF blazer badge, the title scroll detailed `Eastward`, the corresponding tie, four RAF and other ties, and a folding compass, detailed `Cruchon & Emons London 1916`, with MOD arrow.

A small collection belonging to Francis Justin Collins, including 2 cap badges and a pair of shoulder titles of the Liverpool Scottish Regt, a plastic economy AAC cap badge, his cloth pilot`s wings (and duplicate), rank badges, Africa Star tunic ribbon with silver rosette denoting North Africa 1942-43, a regimental kilt, two photograph albums and loose photographs and postcards showing Collins in the Liverpool Scottish in 1939 and as a flying officer in the RAF, group photos 129 Squadron, etc, a military compass in case, 3 silk and another map, various ephemera, an aeroplane clock mounted in a wooden stand Francis Justin Collins, a Liverpool descendant of the Irishman Michael Collins, enlisted in the Liverpool Scottish (a Territorial Bn of the Cameron Highlanders) in the late 30s and transferred to the RAF, was commissioned and flew bombers in North Africa.
