A Georg Jensen labradorite and opal pendant, no. 74, c.1920, an oval cabochon labradorite, rub set at the centre, with three flower heads at the compass points, each rub set with a cabohon opal. Sculptured leaves between with a looped wire surround, suspended on the original fetter link chain with a T-bar clasp. Marked Georg Jensen, 1915-1927, 830 74 CONDITION REPORT: A kink to one of the fetter links. Some surface marks to the labradorite cabochon, possibly part of the structure of the stone. Please see additional image (available upon request). Chain and clasp appear to be original to the pendant. There is a flash of blue, down the length of the stone, but the stones has to be tilted to show it.
A small quantity of Victorian coins, dates from 1860 and 1856, also a small white metal collar stud with horses head, a small 9ct gold clip for a watch fob and three fobs, one with a gentlemans photograph and a ladies photograph to the reverse mounted in yellow metal, and a further yellow metal fob in the form a ships compass.
λA 19th century burr maple octagonal snuff box, with ebonised stringing and integral hinged lid, 3Όin (8.2cm) long, a fruitwood nut cracker, an early 19th century mahogany case compass with paper dial, 3½in (8.8cm) wide, a Swiss carved wood vesta box, inscribed `ENGELBERG`, a set of folding pince nez in a French fruitwood case and a rosewood and brass snuff box. A gilt brass compendium desk piece, comprising a compass, timepiece, thermometer and aneroid barometer, circa 1900, 16cm x 17cm 17.12.13, Case with the gilding faded, bevelled glass panels look clean, dial for the timepiece with some minor scratches, later platform lever escapement, compass dial with some minor scratches and needs silvering, plastic bag test for the aneroid barometer has been done and the barometer hand does move correctly and appears to be working, balance is swinging and in going order.
A brass marine compass mounted on a gimbal within a wooden case CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs. Various soldered repairs. Does not appear to be in working order and dial appears to be crooked and stuck in place. Fading and wear to dial. Some flaking and rusting to white paint to interior. Several bubbles in the liquid. Size of box approx 19cm x 19cm.
