Mid 20th Century Angelus Brass Cube Desk Clock or Weather Station Revolving cube body with inset compass to the top above a clock face, thermometer, barometer and hygrometer all with silvered dials and a circular pedestal base.10cm highAll components are functional, the hygrometer has not been tested however. Masonic interest, an antique Scottish? pottery stoneware whisky flagon of maul or gavel form with relief designs including cherubs, arch, compass, sun, plough, spade, fork, ladder etc. and shield shaped plaque 'George Naiper Aberdeen', 34cm tall with stopper. The angel's wing and foot plus the compass and square appears to be restored/remoulded. There are chips to the stopper. The finial is chipped. The item is crazed throughout. There are chips and losses to the applied decoration.
Masonic interest, a carved mahogany boot jack with thistle design, the reverse carved with Masonic compass and square device, 31cm long, a butterfly wing tray 42cm long, a marquetry tray inlaid with Masonic devices, 48cm long and a carved arch top pelmet with ship, bird and plough deigns, 50cm long. Masonic interest, a Sunderland lustre pottery jug decorated with Masonic devices including compass, scales, torches, beehive, sun, moon, trowel, bell etc. personalised 'Hendray Watson Arbuthnet', and with crest 'Smiths Arms' having motto ;By Hammar and Hand all Arts do Stand', 20cm tall. There is a glaze error with frits and crazing to the body. There is wear to the handle. There are no obvious signs of restoration with stains and marks to the interior.
