British Navy WWII Azimuth Circle Pattern 1152 dated 1943, AFT Azimuth Compass Fitting. Consists of open framework of grey painted alloy. A large prism with a V sight and filter are mounted at the fore end, adjusted by a milled knob. At the other end of frame there is a curved segment with a locking device for attaching instrument to compass. In fitted box made of plastic material similar to Bakelite, serial number printed on the box No. 5369 II, and original paper instruction label inside.
