A rare novelty Edwardian integrated compass and collapsible drinking cup, of brass pocket watch form, the front face with central compass, the hinged case, stamped 'PATENT. E.J.T No. 15061', opening to reveal a six section collapsible drinking vessel which is stamped, 'C.T & S No. 54707' dating the cup to c.1909, together with similar (without the compass), and two sovereign holders, one in copper and fashioned as an egg. (4) *Condition: all pieces in good working order, light wear.

A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Tortoiseshell Veneered Statuette Portico. The rectangular top surmounted by sheet metal pediment pieces pierced and embossed with scrolls of acanthus festooned in laurel garlands and having a classical urn each side. The six red tortoiseshell half-column upright supports adorned with crowns of sheet metal leaves, and flanking a marquetried back panel inlaid with geometric compass stars. The platform base banded in ebony outlined with bone stringing and incorporating three glazed reliquaries to the bulge front frieze embellished with beads and silver wirework, 31" *79 cm) high, 23" (59 cm) wide, 8½" (22 cm) deep.
