On the front inscription in German language saying: just as the magnet draws iron to it, so does Christ draw the souls of believers to him. A handle on the lid, on the underside two iron magnetic poles marked "S" and "N" with the picture of a compass inbetween. The lodestone installed in the interior. Screws restored. A wheellock pistol with carved stock. Suhl around 1620. Smoothbore in 14 mm calibre with three cut medallions of warriors on the top of the barrel. At the breech stamped compass and cloverleaf mark. Plain wheellock with engraved cock. The lock plate marked "WH". Wooden full stock with delicately carved floral and hunting themes (beautifully restored forestock) with a warrior behind the tang and portrait busts on the side plates. Iron furniture.
