An Edwardian pearl and diamond bar brooch with a semi baroque pearl, cup and peg set to a fluted cap. An old European cut diamond milligrain set in a white collet at each compass point to a plain bar, pin and concealed catch. A case by Asprey with embossed initials to the lid, K.M.C. possibly unrelated. Tested as approximately 18ct gold and platinum. Pearl untested. 55.00mm x 14.20mm, 5.83g Condition ReportDirty. Light surface marks commensurate with its age. Pin bent. The pearl has a slightly uneven surface and is of a slightly oval shape. Cream/beige colour with distinctly green overtones.
