A late Victorian mahogany framed drop-end settee and two armchairs. All with matching carpet upholstery, the settee with square taper feet, height 97cm, width 180cm, depth 92cm, the armchairs with turned front feet (3).The backrest of the settee has some movement on the drop end side the feet are firm with noticeable wear to the blue upholstery, both armchairs have a small amount of movement in the armrest but are still very serviceable, both with considerable wear to the blue upholstery tears and splits.
A TABRIZ CARPETapproximately 335 x 244cmCondition Report: Wear to carpet overall. Various areas of wear revealing underlying weft to carpet throughout - see images. Stands of broken weft poke through pile in places. Fringing is short at both ends and has wear, fraying and losses. The wear encroaches into the guard stripe slightly in places. Later strips of fabric have been applied to the undersides of the fringed ends to help secure. Longest edges have been re-bound at some point in varying colours of thread. They have some wear, fraying and undulation. Old stitched repair (approx. 10cm) to one edge. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
Raymond Delamarre (1890-1986) A gilt bronze figure of the Snake Dancer 1920sthe female nude seated cross legged in harem trousers on a carpet, signed 'Delamarre' and bearing foundry stamp for 'La Stele', rear corner edge numbered 10, the opposite edge initialled RD, formerly mounted on a black marble and alabaster plinth baseheight 24.5cm, width 16.5cm, depth 15cmCondition: Some small areas of wear throughout, underside of left arm more worn. The base has a slight inwards twist to each edge.
