Together with an Afghan ‘Chobi’ carpet, Afghanistan, modern, 7ft.2in. x 5ft.10in. 2.18m. x 1.78m. The centre of production for these carpets is Lahore, with other weaving centres in Peshawar and elsewhere in the north west frontier area. (2)

Rare Ersari Turkmen main carpet, Turkmenistan first half 19th century, 7ft.6in. x 6ft.6in. 2.29m. x 1.98m. Overall uneven wear, heaviest across the top end. This is one of the rarest of the Ersari main carpet designs.
