A large hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet circa 1900 (area of Heris, East Azerbaijan, Northwest Persia), the central pink ground and dark cobalt blue ground, star shaped lozenge against a larger red ground lozenge and cream and rose spandrels, all within varying sized and coloured borders with stylised repeating patterns and flower heads within, approx. 582cm long x 365cm wide CONDITION REPORT: There are some areas all through the carpet that have little white spots wearing through but doesn't detract from the overall appearance of the carpet.
A large and fine hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet, circa 1900 (area of Heris, East Azerbaijan, Northwest Persia), central flower head design within a cobalt blue lozenge further against a red ground and large beige cream and rose coloured spandrels, the large blue border decorated with stylised flower heads of varying colours, approx. 617cm long x 349cm wide CONDITION REPORT: There are some minor pieces to the rug (see images). There is a 8/9” piece of reparations to one side of the central flower shaped cream framed cartouche and several other small areas scattered around the carpet. Overall in good condition and shows quite well.
A large hand knotted cobalt blue ground West Persian Bakhtiari Runner having stylised repeating patterns etc., of flower heads and tendrils etc., approx. 620cm long x 109cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Fairly good overall original condition, no major problems noted, no rips, tears or major damage. The carpet has come from a central oxford college (the President's quarters). Some minor wear and white spotting showing through in some areas, possibly some fading but otherwise in reasonable overall order.

A fine hand knotted Persian (Kerman) silk mixture Runner, central cobalt blue medallion with two tulip flower head style pointers, flanked by floral sprays and alternating salmon pink and cobalt blue borders with stylised repeating patterns therein, approx. 159cm x 61cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally in very good overall condition with no tears, rips or damage noted. The carpet does get slightly smaller width wise towards the middle but otherwise is in good order.
A hand knotted Kazak style Rug, central blue medallion bordered by further blue triangular sections and within varying sized red, cream and red and yellow borders with stylised repeating patterns therein, approx. 190cm x 140cm CONDITION REPORT: The carpet is in reasonable general overall condition, it is worn on the borders on the length area but we think this is how it has been made. No major rips, tears or holes are apparent. It exhibits very little “real” wear.
A hand knotted vintage Persian Karaja style Rug, central horizontal lozenge flanked by two panels of varying sized and coloured squares and rectangles against a cobalt blue ground, within dog tooth and leaf style borders with stylised figures, approx. 200cm x 155cm CONDITION REPORT: Overall the rug looks in reasonable condition but has been used and there is evidence of some wear of the carpet.
