The carpet is not in perfect condition and has some footprints and staining to the middle of the carpet. No stains particularly big. A large hand knotted Persian style carpet, central cream rectangle with stylised flower heads and leaves within a salmon pink border with further stylised scrolls, flower heads, leaves and repeating patterns etc., (fading to border), approx. 402cm x 298cm The Auctioneer states that there is fading to the border as per the catalogue description. The sides of the borders have faded quite badly – please see close up image. The ends of the border is much redder. There are some stains on the central cream section. The carpet has been in a private house for many years and as such is in a used condition. Looking further there are some discolouration stains and the carpet is in less than 100% condition (please see images to corroborate).
A hand knotted Chinese cream ground carpet (in Persian style), central flower head burst within an oval medallion, spandrels franking within multi sized borders etc., approx. 315cm x 248cm Auctioneer notes that the carpet looks a little faded from the colours that it once was. There are no major problems tears, rips or reparations noted. Some “minor” staining in parts but fairly good overall.
A large hand knotted Pakistan Bokhara carpet, red ground with "elephant's foot" style pattern to the central rectangle in the usual fashion, approx. 345cm x 257cm The condition is generally OK, it has come privately, it doesn't look as though it has been used particularly heavily although there is a roughly 2-inch round stain on the carpet which has gone into the pile of the carpet (see close-up image)
