'Hatschlu' bezeichnet eine Brücke, die sowohl als Türvorhang einer Jurte (traditionelles Zelt der Nomaden), als auch als Gebetsteppich Verwendung fand. 'Hadsch' heißt Kreuz und bezeichnet die spezifische Musterung, mit einem stark betonten Kreuz als Hauptmotiv. Bei dieser Knüpfarbeit ist die rostrote Mittelfläche durch das stark betonte Kreuz in vier Flächen aufgeteilt. Die vier einzelnen Felder sind mit blühenden Gebüschen ausgeschmückt. KP im Jahr 1974: 3326.-€, mit Expertise.| Oriental carpet. Hatshlu-Mauri, AFGHANISTAN, 210x160 cm, 1960/65s. 'Hatshlu' refers to a bridge that was used both as a door curtain of a yurt (traditional tent of the nomads) and as a prayer rug. 'Hatsh' means cross and refers to the specific pattern, with a strongly emphasized cross as the main motif. In this knotting, the rust-colored central area is divided into four areas by the strongly emphasized cross. The four individual fields are decorated with flowering shrubs. Purchase Price in 1974: 3326.-€, with expertise.

A PERSIAN CARPET PROBABLY TABRIZ Approximately 414 x 304cm Condition Report: Carpet with wear overall consistent with age and use. Wear reveals underlying weft/warp in areas throughout. Some pale knot heads and strands of broken weft poke through pile in places. Some losses to the pile in places which could possibly be from old moth damage (see images). Some small old holes, tears and stitched repairs (see images). Fringing is lost at one end and this wear has encroached into the guard stripe slightly. This end has been re-secured with later thread. The other end of the carpet with the expected wear, fraying and some loose threads. Longest edges have been re-bound at some point but are untidy. They have losses, wear and undulation.
