James Templeton and Co. Patent Rug and Carpet Factory, as a token of their respect for him as their manager, Glasgow 24 April 1841', length 7.8cm, approx. weight 3.3oz, plus a Far-eastern filigree finger guard, set with stones, in a fitted case.
