1976 Lamborghini UrracoRegistration no. OBA4 99PChassis no. 020168Odometer Reading: 13,800MoT Expiry: 24/07/2020*Comprehensive history*Has been restored*Ideal colour combinationBefore Italian supercar manufacturers decided their products should be wide-arched and be-spoilered, simple clean designs ruled the roost. A classic example is the Lamborghini Urraco, which acted as a stepping stone to the bigger and faster Countach. This car's bodywork was Ziebarted when new and is said to remain excellent and the paint, glass and trim again reported to be in fine condition. The interior (not solely the seats but carpet, dashboard and headlining) is described as excellent throughout. At the heart of any supercar is the engine and the three-litre powerpack is reported to be excellent, starting- and running-wise while the drivetrain, recently checked over by a specialist, is said to be in commensurate order. Reassuringly there are no issues with the excellent-order electrical system. Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click here Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 99/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1969 Jensen Interceptor Registration no. VEA 999GChassis no. 1153335Odometer Reading: TBCMoT Expiry: N/A*Very well presented*Driving well*Many upgradesQuite how the Interceptor appealed to both the last vestiges of post-war old money and newly-wealthy stars of showbusiness is testament to its rakish looks, which hinted at the power that lay beneath the panelwork. Here is a 1969 big-block (7.2-litre) example that has enjoyed some sensible mechanical upgrades to improve the driving experience and to boost longevity. The engine has been fully stripped-down and re-built with new pistons and bearings and fast road cam means even more power is supplied at the squeeze of the throttle. New timing chain and gears keeps the internals running smoothly, as does electronic fuel injection and ignition, while an in-tank electric fuel pump supplies the fuel. Silicon hoses keep the liquids in motion and a complete new wiring loom supplies the sparks. Twin electric fans keep the engine cool and a stainless steel exhaust system is fitted. MPH is delighted to report this example is in very good order bodywork- and paint-wise: the glass and trim are to the same order and new 17-inch alloy wheels with new tyres complete the look. Behind the fresh treads is a set of uprated four-pot AP brakes and Koni shock absorbers and for those liking brightwork, re-chroming has been carried-out. The interior was always an Interceptor strong-point and this car's does not disappoint. The fully retrimmed leather interior shows little sign of use and the seats are well cushioned: carpet, door panels and dashboard (the rev counter has been modified for electronic ignition) are as good, as is the wood. The steering wheel is by Motorlite. All in all a superb example with sensible modifications that make this Jensen a highly useable example. PB2 9178Chassis no. 9119302495Mileage: TBAMoT: TBA *Engine re-built 30,000 miles ago*New exhaust system*Good history We are delighted to offer this 911 SC, which comes to Bonhams in vendor-declared very good condition bodily and interior-wise. It left the factory in May 1979 with extras including electric windows and mirrors, headlamp washers, rear wiper and cruise control. The vendor ranks bodywork and paint, trim and glass as very good and the wheels/tyres as good. Panel fit is straight and the bumpers are scuff-free. The interior – black leatherette with pinstripe velour – is very good, as is dashboard and door cards, the carpet excellent and the headlining is rated as good. The engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago and its starting and running is noted as excellent, the engine bay presentation as very good. Our vendor also says the gearbox and clutch are very good, the brakes, steering and suspension being excellent. The history file is good. Here is a well-presented example of a late 1970s 911, and with re-built engine and new exhaust system is worthy of the most serious of consideration.Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 36/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1977 Ford RS2000Registration no. RLT 248RChassis no. GCATL97706Odometer Reading: One mile since restorationMoT Expiry: 28/1/2020*Complete nut and bolt restoration*Rarely seen in this condition*Sensibly guidedEven the most distanced classic market watcher cannot have escaped the rising values of fast Fords in the past, but those with a blue oval appreciation would already have known about their excellent engineering, handling and performance, usually clothed in a relatively everyman bodyshell. The problem for today's would-be owner is finding a suitable car, so for anyone in the market for a Mk2 Escort RS2000, MPH proudly suggest this 1977 example. It was bought by the vendor two years ago and given a full, complete and intense nut-and-bolt restoration. The results speak for themselves or, as out vendor says, 'you won't find a better example on the market!'. It is clear the attention to detail cannot have been bettered: the bodywork and paint attest to careful execution, whether it is the straightness and alignment of the body panels, the application of the red paintwork or even the presentation of the external black trim, it is in the engine bay that attention to detail lives on. The interior is equally outstanding – seats, carpet, door panels and dashboard demonstrate a showroom-new air that is all-too-often never properly achieved. Equal attention has been applied to the car's underside and also its mechanicals, the vendor reporting the engine and the running gear are in excellent order throughout. In all, a thoroughly tempting offering for any fast Ford enthusiasts, or anyone who likes everyman performance cars from the pre-hatchback era. Please click the link to view the walkaround video of this lot: click hereFootnotes:Please note the odometer reading is 17.Please note the correct chassis number is GCATSL97706Vendor Score Total: 100/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. 1988 BMW 635 CSIRegistration no. F828 MLTChassis no. WBAEC820508187873Odometer: 230700MOT: 01/11/2020*Good Example*Comes with MoT*Good Service HistoryThe 6-Series remains a favourite not only with dedicated BMW enthusiasts but those who appreciate a true latter-day grand tourer. Hailing from the same era as Jaguar's XJ-S and the Porsche 928, the '6' more than amply followed in the wheel tracks of its E9 3.0CSi predecessor, winning loyal followers across the globe. The UK proved a large market and today's classic market rates the model highly and MPH is delighted to offer this fine 1988 automatic-transmission 635CSi model, which comes with very good history. The vendor tells us the engine was replaced with a genuine BMW exchange unit in 2004 (with the engine bill on file) and is said to start and run very well. All other mechanical components are also in very good order. The bodywork is in very good order, showing extremely good panel fit and shut lines, and the light metallic blue paintwork presents extremely well too, as does the glass while the engine bay has been well-maintained. Interior-wise the grey leather seats are very tidy and free of neglect, as is the carpet, while the dashboard and trim are crack- and damage-free. MPH is pleased to offer this fine 635, and while there is a healthy supply of examples available, finding a good one is trickier. Here is a well-presented, well cared-for example with good history. It is sure to appeal to the discerning 1980s grand tourer enthusiast. With good-condition bodywork and paint, a good interior and genuine BMW replacement engine in 2004, here is a highly tempting example of the bigger-engined 6-series.Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 80/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. SAJJGAED3ARD15360Mileage: 141,054MoT: Expired 05/02/2020 *Rarer body colour*Early example*Some later history The first-generation XK8 had a tough act in replacing the XJS but it proved immensely popular in the global market, the Ford parentage increasing quality levels and reliability. Here is an early XK8 in fixed-head guise, which is reported to have generally good body and paint while the trim and wheels/tyres are ranked as very good by the trade vendor. The interior (seats, carpet, dashboard and door cards) are scored as very good, they report. The engine is 'very good' for starting and its running, underbonnet area and mechanical components are reported to be very good. The running gear, including gearbox, suspension and brakes are ranked as very good but our vendor notes there is an exhaust blow. Early XK8s in generally good order are becoming hard to find but this example is worth a closer look. WBACL32040LG73116Odometer Reading: 78,000MoT Expiry: 04/11/2020 *Presenting well*Hard- and soft-tops*Ideal colour combination The Z3 came with a choice of engines but many find the 2.0-litre offers the best combination of lively performance and reasonable running costs. This 2000 example has very good bodywork and metallic silver paint and it comes with the factory hardtop. Under the bonnet all is very clean and tidy. The black leather interior is in fine fettle, the seats, dashboard, carpet and door cards showing little wear. Mechanically all is very good: the engine starts and runs well and the running gear is in generally very good order. Please note: The vendor says the central locking is not working, which could be the result of a new battery being fitted. He hopes it will be rectified by the sale. Today's modern classic scene has embraced all 1980s Hondas and an Accord makes a practical, reliable and handsome daily driver. The bodywork and light metallic blue paint are in good order, with pleasing panel fit and good brightwork, and the engine bay is clean and tidy. The original hub caps are still fitted. Interior-wise the blue seats show little sign of wear and the door cards are in equally good order. Dashboard and steering wheel could benefit from a clean but present well, while the blue carpet requires replacing. Superbly finished in Amethyst over Cotswold hide with Indigo piping Burr Elm veneered door panel inserts, rear-quarter vanity mirrors, steering wheel and picnic tables Three keepers and only 21,000 miles. Documented speedometer change at 8,248 miles Powered by the silky-smooth BMW M73 V12 mated to a 5-speed ZF automatic Good service history with main dealers and specialists. Most recent at P & A Wood (09/19) Style, comfort and exclusivity available at less than a quarter of its list price new The Graham Hull-penned Silver Seraph was a clear statement of Rolls-Royce's intention to reclaim the coveted title of the producer of "The Best Car in the World". Following a long gestation period, it was eventually only made for four years, from 1998 to 2002 and replaced the Silver Spur, which ended production in 1997. All Seraphs were hand-built at the factory in Crewe which stopped assembling Rolls-Royce models in 2002 but continued with Bentley. The Seraph was powered by a 5.4-litre, aluminium-alloy, BMW M73 V12 engine making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. The transmission was a 5-speed automatic and standard electronics included digital engine management, adaptive ride control, and anti-lock brakes. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK at the time and just 1,570 Seraphs slipped quietly out of the Crewe gates during that four-year period. This lovely Seraph is finished in the most remarkable colour of Amethyst. From a distance it appears to be the traditional and respectable Rolls-Royce hue of Midnight Blue almost Black, however, step a little closer and, as the Sun reflects off the substantial flanks of this striking motor car, you are rewarded with a kaleidoscope of colours moving from deep blue through mauve, purple, even red mica, subtle but simply stunning. The sumptuous interior is classic RR and features 'Cotswold' leather seating piped in Indigo, Burr Elm cross-banded veneers, Navy Blue carpet and Lambswool over-rugs throughout. The steering wheel is a work of art with circular Burr Elm veneer and Navy Blue leather and, arguably, is worth the car's asking price on its own. Naturally, these luxurious motor cars are comprehensively equipped but one additional factory option was to have a pop-up screen with a reversing camera which is indeed fitted to this car, however, our vendor has just spent around £5,000 with a marque specialist having the pop-up screen modified to house the most recent, top of the range, Garmin touch-screen Sat Nav with an updated rearview camera as well as front and rear parking sensors. Serviced meticulously throughout its life by Rolls-Royce specialists P&A Wood, the odometer was changed under warranty at just over 8,200 miles, and given the currently displayed mileage, indicates that this car has travelled only 21,000 miles during its 21-year life. The finest motor car in the world? Who knows, but it was the first Rolls built under BMW ownership and is all the better for it. The Seraph, particularly in this spectacular colour combination, makes a statement without saying a word. Letting your heart rule your head has rarely been so rewarding. **Sale Room Announcement**This lot has developed a power steering leak since being delivered to us. Please contact the member of staff associated with this lot to secure your appointment. The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to strict COVID-19 guidelines and full instructions will be given when making your appointment. Finished in Solent Blue with cream soft-grain leather piped in Isis Blue, Coffee carpet Spec'd from new with a Black Steering Wheel, Warm Charcoal Facia, Doeskin Headlining Twin headlights, 16-inch lattice alloy wheels, sports suspension Embossed Autolux seating and a special numbered plaque on each sill (No.58/280) First registered on the 04/01/1991 by Stratstones of Mayfair and exported on the 9th January Returned to the UK in September 2019. On a NOVA Certificate with all duties paid This is a serious collectors car and guided very sensibly to ensure good interest Jaguar's famous win at Le Mans in 1990 in the classic purple and white, Silk Cut livery not only secured their prominence in Group C Sportscars but also launched celebrations at Brown's Lane culminating in the decision to celebrate with a low production XJ-S Le Mans edition. Limited to 280 cars, with bespoke features which included twin headlights, lattice alloy wheels, sports suspension, embossed Autolux seating and a special numbered plaque on each sill. Naturally, with the low numbers available and the desirable specification, they sold out quickly and continue to remain sought-after. H749 YUC was first registered on the 04/01/1991 by Stratstones of Mayfair and was duly exported on the 9th of January to a sunnier climate where it remained until September 2019. Finished in Solent Blue ( M715 ) and with a complementing Cream leather interior and piped in Isis Blue. The interior specification from new was as follows; Soft-grain Leather Seating, Black Steering Wheel, Warm Charcoal Facia, Doeskin Headlining and a Coffee Carpet. This truly stunning example of the marque has covered a mere 24,000 miles from new and is supplied with its original book pack containing the owner's handbook and the service book showing good evidence of its maintenance whilst it has been abroad by its (believed) one owner. Arriving back to our shores during 2019, the car was treated to a full service in December of last year making sure that the Le Mans was good to go and ready for a new owner. The car was also MOT'd with 'No Advisories' in November of last year. Currently, the Jaguar is on a NOVA Certificate with all duties paid, meaning that the new owner will be the first listed on the V5, and we also understand that the car will be allocated its original registration of H749 YUC keeping its provenance intact. This is a superb example of a rare model and in this condition and at this low mileage would grace any collection and be much admired at Jaguar events.
