A Victorian mahogany wardrobe, bearing plaque "T.H. Filmers, Cabinet, Upholstery, Bedding & Carpet Manufactures, Berners Street & Oxford Street, London", with mirror door with drawer beneath and raised on a plinth base. Width 115 cm, height 230 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The wardrobe is in generally good order. The cornice is in good condition all round with only very minor blemishes but no splits or losses. The left-hand side of the cabinet is in basically good order with only very minor chips to the veneers at the very bottom edge where it meets the base. The same comments apply to the right-hand side. Both octagonal pillars are in good order. The mirror plate is serviceable but does have some signs of perishing and is a little silvery in places. It is however perfectly functional. The door front has some minor nibbles to the veneers around the edges but no significant issues. The inside back panels have cracks to the upper two. The drawer is in basically good order. The base drawer is missing its lock escutcheon but has no significant problems other than very minor nibbles to the veneer on the right-hand side. The plinth base has all the usual scuffs and marks that one would expect. The right-hand return moulding has a long stress fracture to the veneer but only a small loss at the rear corner. The depth of the wardrobe at the cornice is 56 cm, the internal depth is 40.5 cm. The mirror is not bevelled
