There is some subtle colour variation from sunlight and use.There is some evidence of old moth with some pile reduced generally only visible on close inspection.The edges have been re-bound and there is a folded over curl to one section. Some re-working to sections of the flatweave soumak type end edging and the fringing. Condition Report: Carpet with the wear overall commensurate with age and use. It appears to have been professionally restored to a high standard. There are likely various old repairs and re-woven elements throughout, however it is difficult to determine these areas exactly such is the high stand of restoration. Longest edges have been re-bound and are in tidy order. The fringing is trimmed to a short even length at both ends. The ends have later thread stitched into them to help secure.
