Mid 20th Century Chinese wash carpet piled and decorated with naturalistic flowers and scroll work, fringed. With copy of original bill of sale dated May 1936. 242 x 296cm approx. Together with a modern turquoise ground foliate wash ground type rug. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Carpet - No obvious damage. Doesn't appear to be low anywhere. Little bit of wear to the fringes which are grubby but otherwise ok.
