A large Eastern fringed rug. 370 cm x 245 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The rug is in reasonably good condition. Both fringes are tatty and have losses. There is one section at one end of approximately 8 ins where all of the fringing is missing. This is only at the edge and is not part of the actual carpet. There is a small tear in the fringe on the same edge also in the border which touches the actual weave of the carpet. There are a fewer areas of fringing missing. The main body of the carpet is in fairly good order. There is some wear to the pile across the width of the carpet right in the middle which seems to correspond to a fold. This is visible but not particularly problematic. There is a small area of carpet which has some green candle wax spotting. This should pick off. There is little fading and the colours are similar throughout the carpet. It is a little musty and could do with a vacuum and an airing. The estimate is £80-120 but this is probably a little on the low side.
