A large Persian Ziegler type hand woven wool carpet, worked with central floral panel against a blue ground, within border stripes, 480cm x 303cm (approximately) (as found - attention needed) (reduced) CONDITION REPORT: The carpet has been down on the floor of an unheated but dry out building for many years. It is very grubby with darker patches of dirt. There are worn patches throughout the carpet, wearing through to small holes in parts. There is a long tear to one of the long edges, three other tears within the carpet, two other tears at edges including one which is larger and 'messy' to one of the corners. There is evidence of old moth casing - but none of this appears to be active. The carpet has been reduced in size, please see additional images. It is highly recommended that potential buyers inspect this carpet in person. ATTENTION / RESTORATION WILL BE REQUIRED. AT FAULT
