One selvedge complete, other with losses and fraying. Pile with several areas of wear down to foundation.
Tabriz Carpet, the terracotta field with angular vines and palmettes around an indigo medallion enclosed by indigo palmette borders, 412cm by 305cmEnds secured but with minor losses into outer guard stripe. Selvedges with some fraying to binding cord/detached in areas. Pile is good/fair slightly low in areas. No stains or rotting detected.

A large Persian carpet, the central panel set with all over scrolling foliate decoration on a red ground, within a stepped red, cream and blue scrolling foliate decorated border, approx 520 cm x 368 cm CONDITION REPORTS The carpet is from a private provenance. There is fading and wear throughout. There is a cut out at one corner and the same corner has no fringing. In the same area there has been a patch repair. Very worn in places including the edges. In need of a good clean. The other corner where there is the cut out, parallel to it, there is a significant rip - see images for more details
AN INDIAN OR SPARTA CARPET approximately 345 x 268cm Condition Report: Wear overall consistent with age and use. Some pale knot heads poke through pile in places. Bindings to longest edges are generally tidy but do have some wear and undulation. Fringed ends are untidy, they have sections of loss, wear, fraying and discolourations. A LARGE WOVEN CARPET IN USHAK STYLE approximately 466 x 388cm Condition Report: Carpet with some significant wear overall consistent with age and use. Patches of varying degree of wear and pile height. Various tears and holes - see images. Bindings of longest edges with wear, losses, fraying and some loose threads. Fringing loss to one end, this end is untidy with remnants of fringing, fraying and wear which encroaches into the guard stripe in places. Fringing to the other end is short and bears the expected wear, fraying and losses. Area of repair to one border approximately 30 x 7cm.
