A late 19th/early 20th century Aubusson carpet, with an ivory cartouche filled with roses, on a red ground with floral border, approximately 330 by 450cms.Condition Report: Some wear overall. Edges have been re-bound and have moved into the borders of the carpet. Some pulls and minor opening of stitching between different elements of carpet (see images for extent). Some surface dirt and areas of discolouration. Some small repairs (see images). It appears that the border to both longest sides has possibly be detached and re-attached.
