The tailcoat is finished, but still in the process of being tailored, awaiting buttons and retaining the cutters paper label “Duke of Windsor” ... Trousers of matching cloth, with faint tailor’s label. GC ... Also a white material sports jacket, tailored double breasted with black & white cord edging to the lapel. GC. The garments are contained in a Henry Poole box, the address label crossed out and pencilled to the end “Duke of Windsor Liveries”.
