He competed from 1905 until 1914 and was killed in service in 1915. The following 5 lots are medals that Powell won at Cambridge University. Boxed round glass covered medal with separate metal shield which is inscribed C.U.A.C. Freshmans Sports 120 yards Hurdles won by K. Powell Kings College 1904. The box is damaged and the shield is loose. Includes an "In Memorium" sheet for Powell who gave his life for his Country's Cause, 18th February, 1915. Fair to generally good

Santiago Bernabeu's brother Marcelo played in the Madrid team along with four other players from Real Madrid. 1919 England v Scotland, Ireland & Wales (Friendly) played 1/2/1919 in Audruicq (Calais) France (4-page official programme) 1919 at Notts. Forest FC Programme of Rally Exhibition & Sports at Trent Bridge Football Ground 26/7/1919. 1922 Norway v Ireland played 25/5/1922 at Brann Stadium, Bergen. Very rare 8-page newspaper style programme includes team line-ups and Welcome message from the President of the Norwegian FA to the front in English etc. Poor condition with heavy folds, worn with tears and in need of restoration. 1926 FA CUP Final LMS (London Midland & Scotland Railway) programme which advertises the Final. 1928 C.A Independiente v Barcelona (Friendly) played 11/8/1928 very scarce single card programme. This was the third game played by Barca on the 1928 South American tour which included eight games in Argentina & Uruguay in August 1928 plus 1936 Germany v Italy (Friendly) played 15/11/1936 at Olympic Stadium, Berlin. Rare 8-page programme/Itinerary for visiting Italian fans only. Generally good

T20 SH 84498The T20 SH or ‘Sports Home’ as the name suggests was intended primarily for the UK market and was produced and developed between 1962 and 1966. With its ‘R’ cam, sports valve springs, 9:1 piston, close ratio gears and a large carburettor, it was said produce nearly 15hp compared to the standard 10hp and had a top speed of around 74mph. This model of Tiger Cub was a real lightweight sports bike in the 60s and was nicknamed the ‘Baby Bonneville’.Condition - This rare original Sports Cub is a well restored bike, the burgundy and silver sheen tank is correct for 1962 and although not original specification the stainless-steel wheel rims and mudguards really finish it off well. It has been started occasionally but not used on the road for sometime so will require the usual recommissioning prior to use.Comes with - A dating certificate confirming its provenance and delivery to Walter Wragg Ltd in Sheffield on the 14th February 1962. Some old documents, MOTs and a current V5C.
