Original vintage car racing poster for the International Formula 1 Grand Prix Race at Pena Rhin VII Copa de Barcelona - VII Barcelona Cup on 29 October, 1950 athe Pedralbes Circuit. The Penya Rhin Grand Prix was a Grand Prix motor racing event staged at the three different circuits in three different eras in Spain. The race was held intermittently over its history, sometimes for full-size Grand Prix cars, sometimes for sports cars. In the 1920s, it was held at a street circuit in Vilafranca del Penedes. In the 1930s the race was revived at a parkland circuit in Montjuic. In the 1950s after the war it was held at the Pedralbes Circuit. Top 3 places in the race were won by Scuderia Ferrari team driving Ferrari 375 cars. Jim Clark (1936-1968), British Formula One Racing Driver an archive, comprising five albums of press photographs, postcards from throughout his career including The Scotsman publications, Beaverbrook Newspapers, Geoffrey Goddard Photography, Thomson Newspapers etc. There are photographs with members of The Royal Family and other notable race drivers of the period. The archive appears to have been compiled during Jim Clark's life. the archive contains +/- 300 photographs. NOTE: James Clark Junior (OBE) was a British Formula One Racing Driver from Berwickshire who won two World Championships in 1963 and 1965, he competed in sports cars, touring cars and in the Indianapolis 500 which he won in 1965. He was particularly associated with the Lotus marque (see illustration).
