Lieutenant Colonel Harry Stephen Bagnall, Burma Rifles (late Green Howards) - an Interesting Collection of Letters, Photographs and Ephemera Relating to his Family and Career in Burma and India, including his commission as 2nd Lieutenant to the Yorkshire Regiment, 1911, an embarkation notice from Bombay to England 1919, sports programmes, newspaper cuttings, dance card, table plans, letters of regret dated 1938 at his leaving Mandalay where he commanded the 2/20th Burma Rifles, letters to him from an Italian Prisoner of War in a camp in India which he had commanded in the 1939-45 War; and also including a letter in gilt tooled leather wallet relating to his grandfather Capt. John Nock Bagnall 12th (Bilston Company of Staffordshire Volunteers); his father's (Thomas Nock Bagnall) commission as 2nd Lieutenant 15th Foot, 1874, with a silver shooting medallion to Lt.Col. James Francis Mulhern, R.A.M.C., comprising approx. 200 real photograph postcards and snapshots depicting camp life, many bearing ''official'' camp approval stamps to the reverse, subjects including theatrical and musical productions; sporting events; other assorted camp entertainments; sports team group studies; funerals; cemetery graves, and general scenes of camp life, together with a small quantity of correspondence and a group of three Second World War medals Footnote: Stalag XVIII was located in Wolfsberg, in the Southern Austrian state of Carinthia. Established in 1939 it was operational until the cessation of hostilities and at its peak, in 1944, had responsibility for almost 40,000 prisoners with a diverse range of nationalities form New Zealand to Russia.

Football Alvin Martin 16x12 mounted signature piece pictured in West Ham Kit receiving player of the year 1979/80. Alvin Edward Martin (born 29 July 1958) is an English retired footballer who played as a defender. Playing most of his footballing career for West Ham United he appeared in 598 games for them, scoring 34 goals. With the club for 21 years, and winning the 1980 FA Cup Martin left West Ham in 1996 and played one season with Leyton Orient before moving into football management with Southend United. This lasted two seasons before he started a career in the media on radio station talkSPORT and also as a pundit on Sky Sports TV football talk shows. Football Gary Neville 14x11 mounted signature piece. Gary Alexander Neville (born 18 February 1975) is an English football coach, retired football player and co-owner of Salford City. Since retiring from football in 2011, Neville went into punditry and was a commentator for Sky Sports until he took over the head coach position at Valencia in 2015. After being sacked by the club in 2016, he returned to his position as a pundit for Sky Sports later that year. He was also assistant manager for the England national team from 2012 to 2016. Question of Sport game signed on score pads inside by three legendary names in sport David Coleman, Emlyn Hughes and Bill Beaumont. David Robert Coleman OBE (26 April 1926 – 21 December 2013) was a British sports commentator and TV presenter who worked for the BBC for 46 years. He covered eleven Summer Olympic Games from 1960 to 2000 and six football World Cups. Emlyn Walter Hughes OBE (28 August 1947 – 9 November 2004) was an English footballer. Hughes started his career in 1964 at Blackpool before moving to Liverpool in 1967. He would eventually turn out for Liverpool on 665 occasions, and captain the side to four league titles and an FA Cup victory in the 1970s. Added to these domestic honours were two European Cups, including Liverpool's first ever, when the Reds defeated Borussia Monchengladbach in 1977; and two UEFA Cup titles. Hughes won the Football Writers' Player of the Year in 1977. Hughes would complete a full set of English football domestic honours by winning the League Cup with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1980. In addition to Wolves, he later played for Rotherham United, Hull City, Mansfield Town and Swansea City. Hughes earned 62 caps for the England national team, which he also captained. After retiring from football he worked as a media personality, mainly with the BBC. He was made an OBE in 1980 for his services to sport. Hughes died of a brain tumour, aged 57, in 2004.
