A Rotary 'Super Sports' 1940s hallmarked 9ct gold mechanical wristwatch, the signed silvered dial having gilt border with Arabic numbers, black hands and seconds subsidiary dial in Dennison case ref 81673 and hallmarked Birmingham 1946, the 15 jewel calibre 440 movement housed in stainless steel snap back dust cover, has original brown leather strap, case diameter 29mm, case back wt. 3.9g. Condition: Currently only runs for a short period of time, appears over wound, dial showing signs of dirt build up, crown ok, adjusts fine, case has some minor marks to outer, bezel is cracked and frosty, needs replacing, strap showing signs of stress and wear.

A Stroll in the Park: An Early 20th Century Pale Pink Mother-of-Pearl Fan, lightly silvered and gilded with classical designs, the leaf mounted à l'Anglaise, the recto showing gentlefolk of the early 19th century strolling in the grounds of a fine chateau, watching ducks on the water, relaxing on benches and greeting acquaintances. Centrally one beau sports a military uniform. The verso is plain. Signed Miroty (?). Guard length 8.5 inches or 21.5cm. Together with A Paper Advertising Fan by Duvelleroy, Paris, for the ''Restaurant de l'Hotel Regina Paris'', the central cartouche showing the sumptuous interior, with a side vignette to the left showing the view of the city with the Eiffel Tower and other monuments, taken from the hotel balcony, and a further vignette showing the hotel's exterior, taken from the Tuilleries' gardens. The verso is plain. Guard length 9 inches or 23cm (2)The leaf on the first fan is slightly rubbed on the folds and has one pinprick, an inch or so of the top gold border is fraying. The mother of pearl is light and airy and the gilding is good. Two small patches of repair to the leaf as seen from the verso. Both guards have broken and been well repaired. The paper fan has nicks and very small tears to some folds but the fan is strong.
