A printed 8vo menu for a Celebratory Banquet in honour of Sir Ivan Lawrence, hosted by the Burton Conservative Association at The Knoll, Barton under Needwood, Staffordshire, 27th May 1994, boldly signed by Thatcher in blue ink with her name alone to the front cover which features an illustration of the Houses of Parliament. Together with Denis Thatcher (1915-2003) British Businessman, husband of Margaret Thatcher. A.L.S., Denis Thatcher, two pages, 8vo, 10 Downing Street, 6th August (1983), to D. J. Cure of the Havering (Romford) Division of the Conservative Association, stating 'I have an unbreakable rule. I NEVER give Press interviews, go “on the box”, nor make speeches except at sports occasions' and continuing 'Were I even once to break my “rule” Heaven knows where I would finish up.' Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Thatcher. Also including a small selection of T.Ls.S. by other British politicians including Lord Home, Lord Carrington, Douglas Hurd and Francis Pym etc., most also written to D. J.
