2001 Porsche Boxster S Tiptronic Transmission: automaticMileage:36580The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat, six-cylinder engine. Harm Lagaay's design, inspired by the 356 Speedster and 550 Spyder, stimulated a commercial turnaround for Porsche. Many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while in the 911, rear-engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near-perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and the base model received a more powerful 2.7 litre engine. In 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. Production of the 986 began at the former Porsche 928 facility in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996. The Boxster was Porsche's biggest volume seller from its introduction in 1996 until the company introduced the Cayenne sport utility vehicle in 2003.This example is presented in silver with a blue leather interior and comes with the desirable factory option of a hardtop. It is the S version Tiptronic which is powered by the smooth 3.2 litre mated to a five-speed gearbox. There is some service history with the car, with the last service being carried out by the present owner in July 2021 by CMD Porsche. The car is in good condition throughout and has covered only a mere 36,580 miles from new. This is a great entry to the Porsche marque providing much fun with good performance.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

2005 Maserati Quattroporte Transmission: automaticMileage:99887The Maserati Quattroporte was first revealed in 1963. It was the first production Maserati with more than two doors and also the first to be powered by a V8 engine. The Pietro Frua designed, full-sized sports saloon kicked off an almost unbroken run of this luxury car which is now well into its sixth iteration. Fifth generation Quattroporte production spanned from 2003 to 2012, styled by Pininfarina, it is considered one of the best-looking four-door saloons ever and was the most successful QP evolution to date with over 25,000 produced. The QP V was based on the same underlying platform as the popular GranTurismo and GranCabrio models and, like them, was powered by V8 units from sister company Ferrari. Initially, all variants were fitted with a 395bhp 4.2litre V8 but from 2008, the Quattroporte S and Sport GT S had the larger 4.7 litre engine with power increasing from 424bhp to 434bhp and topping out at 444bhp.Registered new on 28th June 2005, this well-presented example was acquired by its current vendor in 2017 who has used the Maserati regularly. Offered in the desirable colour combination of metallic black over beige leather interior, this Quattroporte presents well. The interior is in good order with few blemishes and the paintwork presents well although as expected there are some stone chips and minor blemishes. Offered with a history file containing various sundry invoices, service records, previous MoT test certificates and the current UK V5 registration document. Offered without reserve, this is a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of the most affordable and elegant cars on the market. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1973 Triumph GT6 Mk. III Transmission: manualMileage:89415The GT6 was launched in 1966 as a fastback version of the popular Spitfire model. Powered by 2.0 litre engine from the Triumph 2000 the model enjoyed a production run until 1973. This new model, like the Spitfire, inherited what was essentially the Triumph Heralds chassis and running gear which had already proved capable of handling six-cylinder power when developed for the Vitesse saloon. With brisk performance and stylish looks the GT6 deserved its nickname of the ‘mini E-Type’ and today it is one of the most sought after post war Triumph sports cars with only 13,042 Mk. III examples manufactured.Originally registered on 19th July 1973, this stunning, late example GT6 presents wonderfully in red with a contrasting black interior and features the desirable option of overdrive. The car has benefitted from a fully photographed, comprehensive nut and bolt, body off restoration by specialists JY Classics Limited of Little Kingshill, the result of which is this impressive example you see today. Previously owned by Leo Villa who was chief mechanic to Donald Campbell of Bluebird speed record fame. The huge history file for this car contains letters from Donald’s daughter, Gina Campbell confirming ownership. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and although exempt by age, an MoT test certificate valid until November 2021. This well documented example with an interesting history is realistically priced and could prove to be a fine investment.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2002 Porsche 911 / 996 Targa Transmission: manualMileage:85235The 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core. The Targa models now featured a full glass and electronically operated roof. The 996 was another step forward for Porsche, making cars that not only excited their fan base but appealed to those who wanted a comfortable and practical everyday sports car that could sprint to 60 mph in a shade over five seconds.Originally registered on 29th June 2002 this 996 Targa is owned by a fastidious and knowledgeable collector, the car has always been well cared for. The striking paintwork on this handsome Porsche has to be seen to be appreciated. Officially known as Ocean Blue the paintwork almost changes colour in the sunlight and has a deep metallic finish to it. The interior of the car is contrasting grey leather. With great ergonomics this six-speed manual gearbox Porsche is a treat to drive, the exhaust note emitting from the Dansk sports exhaust is fantastic. Offered for sale at a realistic estimate given the condition and taking into account it has a Targa roof for those rare but thoroughly enjoyable sunny days. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 20th February 2022.

1989 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:157117These fabulous sports cars were unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1977 and voted Car of the Year for 1978. It was intended as an upmarket replacement for the long-running 911 but in the event Porsche's rear-engined classic would outlive its younger sibling. The front-engined 928's stylish hatchback body featured aluminum doors, bonnet and front wings in the interests of weight saving, while ingenious impact resistant 'bumpers' made of colour matched plastic were incorporated into the nose and tail. A five-speed transaxle gearbox or three-speed automatic were the transmission options, in 1979 the 928S with its 4.6 litre engine arrived and then in 1986 the model was further revised and restyled, becoming the 928 S4. Its engine producing 320bhp courtesy of twin-cam, 16 valve cylinder heads and enlargement to 4,957cc, the S4 enjoyed a welcome top speed boost to 160mph.This wonderful looking example was supplied new by official Porsche Centre Charles Follett Ltd, London in March 1989 and is presented in blue over a blue leather interior. The paintwork is in good order as is the interior which shows a light patina from general use over the years. In 2019, the 928 was fitted with a set of Continental tyres at a cost of £468 and in 2020 it was treated to an annual service by Oakhurst Garage. The Porsche maintenance booklet shows 29 service stamps undertaken by either Porsche main dealer or independent specialists and it has recently been treated to a fresh MoT with no advisories valid until September 2022. 1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal Transmission: manualMileage:46184In 1967, Alfa Romeo dipped its toe into the Supercar sector by launching the Montreal, named after the Montreal Expo where it made its debut. It was powered by an all new V8 quad-cam competition derived power unit with dry sump lubrication taken from the successful Type 33 sports racer and mated to a five-speed ZF gearbox. With a capacity of 2593cc, the V8 featured twin overhead camshafts per bank and produced, via Alfa Romeo/Spica fuel injection and Bosch electronic ignition, 200bhp at 6500rpm. This provided excellent performance with a top speed of 137mph and 0-60mph in just 7.6 seconds. Under the exotic Bertone designed 2+2 coupé coachwork, the Montreal incorporated many stylish features, such as the headlamp eyelids and the NACA duct on the bonnet. One of only 155 right hand drive, UK supplied cars, this wonderful Montreal offers a rare opportunity as the perfect candidate for restoration. Photos in the accompanying history file show it being repainted some time ago by the previous owner; however, it was repainted in red, when its original colour was the much more desirable metallic orange, (AR 602). The letter in the file from Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo confirms this and also that the car was manufactured on 21st February 1975 before being sold on 26th February 1975 to Alfa Romeo London. The vendor purchased the car in 2008 in its current condition having been dry stored for the previous twenty years. He bought it with the intention of restoring the car himself to enjoy it with his wife, who had given her blessing to the project! Sadly, she died shortly afterwards in a tragic accident and, whilst he made efforts to check the electrics and make sure the engine turned over, (which it does), ultimately, he lost the motivation for the restoration. He has kept the car in dry storage ever since and it is only being sold now to fund a trip to New Zealand with his son to scatter his wife’s ashes. Upon inspection, it appears the car is solid and almost all the parts are with it. The vendor however, has tracked down the missing few parts and is happy to pass the contact information onto any new owner. The car comes supplied with a UK V5C registration document, the letter from Alfa Romeo and photos of the previous paint job. Whilst the vendor never got to restore the car himself, the new owner can confidently undertake what should be a fairly straightforward restoration. Having been dry stored for the past 33 years and, incredibly, still having almost all the parts to complete the project, this is a unique opportunity to restore one of these rare right hand drive, UK supplied Montreals – an opportunity not to be missed.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1977 Fiat 124 Sport Spider Transmission: manualMileage:85041Introduced at the November 1966 Turin Salon, the Fiat 124 Sport Spider boasted a handsome two-door monocoque bodyshell that was not only styled but built by Pininfarina although, Fiat assumed responsibility for final assembly. It shared much of the running gear as the other 124 models, the Sport Coupé and 124 Saloon. The Spider uses a shorter platform with a shorter wheelbase than the Fiat designed and manufactured coupé. The four-cylinder engine used in the 124 Spider and Coupé is a double overhead cam, aluminium crossflow head version of the saloon’s pushrod engine. It started in 1966 with a capacity of 1,438cc progressively increasing to 1,608cc in 1970, 1,756cc in 1974 and finally 1,995cc in 1979. The Fiat twin cam engine was designed by ex-Ferrari engineer, Aurelio Lampredi and Bosch fuel injection replaced the Weber carburettors midway through 1980. It incorporated thoughtful features such as intermittent wipers and a hood that could be raised in under twenty seconds, the Sport Spider proved a great sales success. A staple part of Fiat's model range until 1982, just under 200,000 are thought to have been made, though, over eighty percent were shipped to North America. This very good, rust-free, 1977 Fiat 124 Sport Spider is fitted with the 1800cc engine and was supplied new to the USA before being imported to the UK in 2018 by the previous owner who had the car fitted with the European specification bumpers and went through the car mechanically fitting a new clutch, new brake discs and pads and having the magnesium wheels refurbished. The current owner has recently had the car serviced and a new cambelt and tensioner fitted. Finished in the classic Italian colour scheme of red with tan interior and black roof, this 124 Sport Spider is supplied with a V5 registration document, the original owners’ books and original toolkit. This great Italian sports car runs and drives very well and is a great way into classic car ownership.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Transmission: automaticMileage:80824The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Spirit was similar mechanically to the Silver Shadow, benefiting from the superb Rolls-Royce 6,750cc, V8 and sharing many mechanical characteristics of the model it replaced. The instruments were supplemented by digital units which gave such information as the time, elapsed driving time and external temperature and were the first Rolls-Royce to be fitted with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy.Supplied new in Jersey in 1984, this Rolls-Royce spent its first 18 years on the channel island before coming home to the mainland. The limited use available in Jersey will be the reason for the low mileage for the age of this car. This, and a good service history, is reflected in the stunning condition the car presents in today. The engine bay is immaculate and the car sports four new tyres, an upgraded stereo, stacking CD player, a stainless stell exhaust system, all tools and two sets of keys. The extremely rare Richmond Blue bodywork contrasts well with the magnolia trim piped in blue. The records show that this Spirit has two previous owners. One of whom purchased the car through world famous and well-respected franchised dealer P & A Woods, in fact some of the 15 dealer stamps in the service book are by the well-known dealer from Dunmow, Essex. Supplied to auction with a V5c registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1970 MG C GT Transmission: manualMileage:21788The arrival of the MGC in 1967 was greeted with mixed reaction from enthusiasts and the motoring press alike. It can be described as one of the most controversial sports cars ever produced out of Abingdon and, during its short life, the car was never short of attention, particularly from the press. The arrival of the MGC was partly due to the flagging sales of the Austin Healey 3000 and the fact that the original design of the MGB monocoque structure was capable of taking larger power units than the 1800cc engine in the MGB. Upon its launch in October 1967 the MGC was available in roadster form at £1,102 and in GT form at £1,249 and was considered very reasonably priced for one of the fastest production MG's produced. If used, as a relaxed high-speed tourer, the MGC was an extremely civilised motor car.Registered new on 13th October 1970, this very well presented MGC GT was the subject of a comprehensive restoration just a few years ago. During the restoration the coachwork was re-sprayed in Old English White and presents wonderfully and complements the superb contrasting black interior. Other works undertaken included a top-end engine rebuild using an original MGC GT gas flowed cylinder head, a new exhaust system and Tubular Maniflow manifold as well as a new clutch and ABC distributor. The six-volt batteries were replaced with a new 12 volt alternative and a new radio with phone/sat nav. charger port installed. In excellent usable condition, this example comes complete with a sizeable history file detailing previous works, sundry invoices, old MoT test certificates and the current UK registration document. This is a wonderful example of one of the most desirable MG’s ever built. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Power delivery is smooth from the five litre 320 bhp engine and we are told this Porsche is a joy to drive. We are also informed that the file for this Autobahn cruiser contains a V5C registration document, a good service history and an MoT test certificate valid until March 2022. 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS (Surrey Top) Transmission: manualMileage:4738Produced between 1961 and 1967, the Triumph TR4 combined a new, modern, and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist, Giovanni Michelotti, with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation, and an optional hardtop. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph. Following on from the TR4, the new TR4A was phased in smoothly at the beginning of 1965 and introduced an all new independent rear suspension system (IRS), which provided exceptional rear wheel camber control with excellent wheel travel while softer springs improved the ride quality. The press was happy to see an all independent car, and Triumph was pleased to be the first British car manufacturer to have all independent suspensions under every car in their line-up. At the Sebring 12 Hours in 1966, ample proof of the validity of the IRS was provided when three IRS equipped TR4As achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 class victory. This home market TR4A is truly beautiful. The condition of the car is remarkable and the specification second to none. First dispatched in January 1966 it was specified in Signal red with black interior, wire wheels, a heater and overdrive gearbox. With a Surrey top, this is as desirable as they come. The car had a full body-off restoration around 2008, at which time the chassis received a complete overhaul as well as replacing the floors and outer sills on the body before being resprayed. The engine was rebuilt at the same time by John Knights Engineers in Norwich and the car also received new electrics, upgraded suspension bushes, springs and universal joints. A new stainless exhaust system was also fitted. In April 2019 a new clutch was fitted and the gearbox rebuilt. The car looks fantastic and shines in the sun; the brightwork is excellent as are the wire wheels and interior.  The door gaps and general panel fit is very good and this wonderful little car has just benefitted from a thorough recommissioning before bringing it to sale. The vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well with the overdrive gearbox shifting perfectly.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, BMI Heritage Certificate, owner’s handbook and file of receipts and history of the car’s life as well as two sets of keys and an MoT test certificate valid until June 2022. It is rare to find a TR4A in such stunning condition and with such a desirable specification. This pretty little British sports classic is ready to be admired wherever it goes.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1986 Porsche Carrera 3.2 (3.5 Tognola upgrade) Supersport Specification Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:159393The 3.2 Carrera is revered as the ultimate development of the original 911 that first appeared in 1963, before being replaced by the more complicated 964.These final cars were the most flexible and usable of Butzi Porsche's original design. The all alloy flat six-engine, which had been fuel injected since 1971, was enlarged to 3164cc, giving a torquey 231 BHP; enough to propel the lithe and slippery coupé to over 150 mph, with 0-60 mph coming up in 5.6 seconds. Cars built from September 1986 onward received the more user-friendly G50 gearbox, but all 3.2 Carreras feature galvanized bodies, which together with Porsche's legendary build quality, ensure that these classics are long-lasting.Working for the city based financial company Singer and Friedlander, Mr. Dyas’ choice of company car was a bit better than most. A keen car enthusiast, he ‘settled’ for a brand new G50 gearbox, ‘triple black’ 3.2 Carrera Sport Coupé as, even with his position, ordering the factory Supersport he so desired was a step too far. He did however order the car with the desirable deep bolster adjustable sports seats, rear wiper and sunroof. Mr. Dyas loved the car and used it regularly, putting almost 65,000 miles on the clock by the time he bought it from his employers in 1992 (for £6,500) and although it was his car from new, he was now officially the second keeper.Whilst still owned by Singer and Friedlander however, Mr Dyas managed to get a few modifications done to the car. He somehow convinced his employers to convert the car to a Supersport, sourcing all the correct panels from Porsche and instructing Porsche experts, Tognola Engineering, to carry out the conversion. A receipt from Tognola from 1989 lists all the parts used for the conversion. Mr. Dyas didn’t stop there though; whilst having the Supersport conversion carried out and the car repainted, he also had Tognola do their 3.5 litre engine conversion. This boosted power from the standard 230 BHP to 267 BHP, (see rolling road report in the car’s history file), utilising the incredibly rare Club Sport ECU. Impressively, with the engine modifications, the car only produces 30 BHP less than the 930 Turbo! The quality of the work carried out when repainting the car after the Supersport conversion is remarkable, and the paint presents incredibly well even now, some 30 years later. Stood next to the car, it is hard to believe it has covered over 159,000 miles, presenting better than most 30,000 mile examples, with the interior unmarked and mechanically perfectly maintained. Indeed, other than its latest service, which included fluids and brake pads by Porsche guru Steve Monk, the car has had almost all of its work carried out by Tognola Engineering, with only the very early services by Porsche main dealers. The incredible history file shows not only every tax disc and MoT test certificate for the car’s life, but also every receipt from Tognola Engineering for their servicing and work from 1989 to 2014. The supplied Porsche service book also boasts 17 stamps and the vendor reports the car to be an absolute pleasure to drive, without any faults.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, service book, owner’s handbook and a wonderful file of the car’s life as well as an MoT test certificate valid until April 2022. This fantastic Porsche is unique in terms of both its incomparable history, and its uprated specification.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Transmission: automaticMileage:25100The Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2006 - 2013) was the second Bentley manufactured since the Volkswagen Group purchased the brand in 1999, after the Continental GT. The Flying Spur is essentially a four-door version of the Continental GT, with a stretched wheelbase and greater length for more spacious rear seating. The two models are similarly priced. The 2013 Spur weighs 5,580lbs and carries the same twin-turbo, 6.0 litre W12 engine used in the Continental GT, for an output of 600 horsepower and 533 pound-feet of torque. It has a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 200mph. The steering column-mounted paddle shifters enable direct access to the six-speed gearbox when the ZF transmission is put into ’S’ or sports mode.Originally registered in 2006 this striking Bentley presents well in a two tone wrap of silver and purple with a contrasting cream Connolly leather interior. The records for this Bentley show only three owners and a very low mileage. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate, this is a realistically priced opportunity to purchase the ultimate 200mph, luxury Bentley saloon.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1963 Triumph TR4 Transmission: manualMileage:69149Produced between 1961 and 1967, the TR4 combined a new, modern and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist, Giovanni Michelotti with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation and an optional hardtop. The 2138cc engine of the late-production TR3A continued while the 1991cc engine was also made available to buyers who wanted to participate in two litre racing. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph. Today, the four-cylinder TR's are among the easiest of post-war classic sports cars to own and maintain being supported by a multitude of component suppliers and other specialists. This extremely original 2138cc TR4 shows only two recorded owners in its 58 years. The current being the executor of the will of the first owner who purchased the car in the 1960s. Presenting well in the traditional and desirable colour combination of Racing Green and red trim, this Triumph shows a wonderful patina. We are informed that this Triumph starts first time and is a joy to drive. Offered to auction with a tonneau cover, an original handbook, previous MoT test certificates, various bills and receipts dating back to 1964 and a V5C registration document. This realistically priced quintessentially British sports car should generate significant interest both within the TR Register and wider classic car enthusiasts’ community.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1972 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:82000The Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel injection. It featured a four speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.First registered on 23rd June 1972, this desirable ‘CP’ 150BHP car was a UK home market supplied vehicle, which included the overdrive gearbox option from new. The car was purchased in the early 90’s by a Mr Wallin in Berkshire who, in 1994, began what developed into a comprehensive restoration spanning six years and resulted in a stunning outcome. The Burr Walnut dash is as new, likewise the double duck hood which complements the lovely blue coachwork and black trim. When Mr Brown in Bracknell purchased the car in 2005 the expenditure didn’t stop there. Being described as somewhat of a perfectionist he had Rees Bros inspect the car prior to purchase. In 2013 Mr Brown had the engine reconditioned by Rees Bros who also provided an evaluation on the car stating it was ‘an excellent example of this desirable sports car that has been looked after very well. It is in first class order throughout’. Having covered only minimal mileage since, the car presents just as it would have in 2013, one of the best we have offered, and the vendor states he would jump in and drive to Scotland tomorrow in her. Supplied with its UK V5C registration document, previous MoT test certificates and many receipts. This example, offered in its ultimate high powered specification, is not to be confused with the average TR6. Its condition is fantastic and it presents extremely well in a desirable colour combination. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Transmission: manualMileage:347The Mercedes-Benz 190SL with the 300SL made history at the New York International Motor Sports Show in February 1954 by being the first new production Mercedes- Benz to be unveiled outside of Germany. The impression given by the 190SL alongside the bigger 300SL was neat, sporty and with dashing lines. This was the trait of Mercedes-Benz designers Karl Wilfret and Walter Hacket. Despite opinions, the statistics tell their own tale as between May 1955 and February 1963, 25,881 of these cars were produced, it was a huge success for Mercedes-Benz. Its engine boasted four inline cylinders with a chain driven overhead camshaft and two Solex 44PHH carburettors, delivering a respectable 108bhp for that era. The body was a monocoque design, welded to the shortened chassis of the type 180 saloon. A racing version with aluminium doors and a small windscreen was never produced although these parts could be ordered from the factory for weekend racing. This left hand drive 190SL was imported from South Africa circa six years ago where it was subject to an extensive restoration, which included a colour change from Medium Grey to Black (DB040). The car has resided in a private collection since import and comes complete with records of previous MoT test certificates and the UK V5 registration document. With its superb colour combination of Black bodywork and cream leather upholstery, this beautiful 190SL convertible is a suitable acquisition for the discerning collector.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:14511Although having a family resemblance to the XK120 and XK140, the XK150 was radically modernised. A one piece windscreen replaced the split screen and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The bonnet was also widened, opened down to the wings and on the roadster, the bulkhead was moved back four inches to make the bonnet longer. In the interior, the XK140's walnut dashboard was replaced by one trimmed in leather and chrome. On the early drophead coupés, an aluminium centre dash panel with an X pattern engraving was fitted which looked similar to the early 3.8 litre E-Type. The standard engine, the same as fitted to the XK140, was the 3.4 litre DOHC Jaguar straight six rated at 180bhp at 5750rpm but most cars were fitted with the SE engine that had a modified cylinder head with larger exhaust valves rated at 210bhp at 5500rpm. The four-wheel Dunlop 12 disc brakes appeared for the first time although it was theoretically still possible to order a car with drums. Either wire wheels or disc wheels could be specified. These were high performance, well-appointed sports touring cars capable of 137mph and 0-60 in 7.8 seconds and could comfortably accomplish long distances with alacrity. This beautiful Jaguar was originally despatched to Henlys London and has spent much of its life in Jersey. The red coachwork is in very good order as is the beige leather trim, she sits proudly on chrome wire wheels. Turn the ignition on, press the button and the XK engine bursts into life and sounds superb, we are advised she drives every bit as good as she looks. Southern Classics carried out a significant level of restoration work during 2000 with the body being fully restored and the car being taken care of mechanically, the final invoice was £51,994.93. At some stage during its life this XK150 has been converted from automatic to manual gearbox. A genuine UK supplied right hand drive vehicle, this car is currently being de-registered in Jersey and will come to sale with an official export certificate enabling the car to be registered in the UK, although buyers must be aware that a 6% import duty must be paid on the sale price. However, with prices for such examples regularly achieving well over £100,000, the vendor has taken this into account given the estimate. Historics are able to assist in the registration of the car if required. Supplied with a good history folder, viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the quality of this 63 year old British classic, it is a beauty.Interested parties should note that this Jaguar XK150 has had a number of desirable upgrades during its restoration including; The fitment of a 3.8 litre engine. CooperCraft brakes all round. A five-speed Getrag gearbox. Rack and pinion power steering. 1989 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:Originally intended to replace the company's iconic 911, the 928 attempted to combine the power, poise and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort and equipment of a luxury saloon. The body, styled by Wolfgang Möbius under guidance of Anatole Lapine, was mainly of galvanized steel but the doors, bonnet and boot were made of aluminium to save weight.  Polyurethane elastic bumpers were integrated into the nose and tail and covered in body-coloured plastic; an unusual feature for the time that was intended as both a styling feature and to reduce drag. In 1980, the 928S was introduced with a larger 4.7 litre engine and wider wheels and tyres, whilst in 1987, the engine displacement was further increased to 4957cc with the introduction of the now highly regarded and desirable 928 S4.Supplied by AFN Porsche (London) Ltd on 5th May 1989, this 928 S4 appears to have been very well cared for and presents in very good condition all round. The Forrest Green paintwork is in very good order with a good deep rich shine and the contrasting Cashmere Beige interior is commensurate with a low mileage example that has been well cared for. The additional extras on this 928 S4 include automatic transmission, lumbar support on the driver’s seat, soft look leather seats and a sunroof. A comprehensive history folder accompanies F479 SLF, showing 18 stamps in the service book, together with a significant number of invoices. A documented gearbox overhaul was carried out in February 2010 with the mileage at 51,354. Supplied with the original handbooks, a V5C registration document together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 24th March 2022 and a Certificate of Authenticity. Porsche 928’s are fast becoming recognised as being great cars to own; the familiar tone of a five litre V8 combined with superb German engineering make this an exciting car to drive both on country roads and relaxing on longer journeys.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1975 Formosa 120 GR Long Wheelbase Transmission: manualMileage:650The Formosa 120 GR Long Wheelbase was inspired by the racing cars of the 1950's such as the Jaguar C Types and Aston Martins. Whilst not a replica, the Formosa captures the style and qualities from the era. The car was created with the help and guidance of an ex-pattern maker and laminator who had just retired from Sunseeker Super Yachts and also had a background in creating fibreglass race cars and Hot Rods. A man by the name of Glan Richards (GR). Over a period of approximately ten months he shaped and created a bodyshell that had all the features he liked from various cars of that bygone era but the design didn't lean heavily or replicate any particular marque or model, thereby avoiding all the copyright and patent issues that replicators can have problems with.’ A standalone car that was immediately recognisable as a 1950's race car. In the same way that builders of old chose to use existing donor chassis and running gear from the classic marketplace, he chose to do the same. By retaining the majority of the donor, minus bodyshell, he could retain the car’s classic status, registration, chassis number, etc... for him this was vital. Still a true classic car just wearing a different coat! Driving experience is that of a 1950's racing car, a raw, wind in the hair, firm ride accompanied by a glorious exhaust note from its V6. This pretty sports car was recently assembled with over 1000 hours spent in doing so, in 2021 from the ground up using a refurbished and powder coated 1975 Scimitar GTE chassis. The mechanical components were inspected prior to installation onto the newly powder coated chassis. The brakes were refurbished and new brake lines were fitted together with new brake servo and master cylinder. Finished in Connaught Racing Green, powered by the great and refreshed 3.0 Ford Essex V6 with reconditioned heads, new water pump, new alternator, new electronic ignition system, new coil and plugs, mated to a Mazda RX8 five speed gearbox. It has black leather seats and a new aero screen. It has refurbished 15” knock on wire wheels, new lights, leather bonnet and boot straps, stainless steel petrol filler cap, new wood steering wheel and it has an aluminium panelled boot large enough for a couple of small suitcases or soft bags. Its twin double exhausts provide the backdrop sound when being driven swiftly and, with its evocative looks and lively performance, this 1950s style sports car is just great fun! The car comes with a UK V5C and is correctly registered with the DVLA, also benefitting from full ‘Historic’ status, tax and MoT exempt. It's worth noting that the car will accommodate larger drivers – the current owner being 6' 2, 17 stone and fitting with ease! Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Transmission: automaticMileage:52587Unveiled at the Geneva Motorshow in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was engineered in conjunction with Tom Walkinshaw’s TWR group who built the new supercharged six-cylinder engine. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. It didn’t just bring a new powertrain but more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog/side/indicator lights and imposing 18” wheels. The Vantage interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell where the carpet and wood veneers were also prepared. With the launch of the new V12 engine in the DB7 Vantage, production of the earlier straight-six DB7 ended in mid-1999.Originally registered on 12th February 2003, this Aston Martin is finished in the delightful colour combination of Onyx Black with contrasting grey leather interior, walnut dashboard and door cappings. The modest mileage of a little over 52,000 equates to less than 3,000 miles per annum. A great specification adorns this DB7 including 19” alloy wheels, red brake calipers, a mesh front grille and fully adjustable electric heated GT seats which is a rare option. A sports exhaust system enhances the wonderful note emitting from the V12 engine. Heated front and rear screens are important driver aids as is the Bluetooth stereo system. Supplied with the original service books confirming the car has been cared for by a combination of main dealers and Aston Martin specialists, this stunning example has the desirable combination of V12 power and soundtrack coupled with sumptuous luxury and effortless acceleration through the automatic transmission.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray 427 Transmission: manualMileage:59560The Corvette Stingray had grown to be America's most popular sports car since its debut in 1953 but it was time for a change for the 1963-1967 models. Even the most superlative design grows whiskers after a decade and Chevrolet Chief, Bill Mitchell and stylist, Larry Shinoda, faced a tough task; to improve a living legend. Not only did they succeed but their creation turned into a modern classic and they created the most collectible Corvette of them all, sending sales soaring to record levels. Seeds were planted by the Stingray Special racer and experimental XP-720 which displayed a smooth fastback profile and split back window. These and other styling details such as pivoting hidden headlights, doors cut into the roof, and a swage line dip all wound up in the production Stingray. The four headlights aligned with the pointy front end when shut, rotating open when needed. Luggage space grew, though lack of a boot lid earned few plaudits. There was less fibreglass but nearly twice as much steel in the sculptured body, which rode a shorter 98-inch wheelbase. This truly stunning example of the 427 Corvette C2 Stingray was first manufactured in St Louis, Missouri by GM in June 1967 and supplied by Orr Chev-Cadillac in Texas, confirmed by the NCRS Judging Chairman Tom Falconer in a dating certificate included in the history file. The car is presented in a stunning combination of near unmarked metallic Marlboro Maroon coachwork with full black trim, the Stinger hood (Bonnet bulge) which was a 1967 BB option only and all the chrome trimmings one would expect. From new it was specified with factory air conditioning - rare for a convertible - and features the Rallye wheels again a 1967 only option and the side exhaust which sounds fabulous. Being the big block 427ci V8 with 390 bhp this example also ticks the box for power and the ability to really surprise modern day traffic. We can ascertain from the history file that the car was purchased by an Italian collector in Parma in 2015 from a Mr Crecos in Illinois, USA an NCRS member who had the car restored. Once in Italy an engine fault resulted in the owner spending circa €30,000 on an engine rebuild and upgrades to the lights for Italian roadgoing reasons. Our vendor, who had been searching for a top notch C2, flew to Parma in 2016 having heard that post rebuild, the collector was looking to sell his example and buy a Porsche 356 Speedster. After a coffee and inspection he fell in love and made an offer before purchasing and sending the car back to the UK. Having already had an engine rebuild, our vendor was aware it would benefit from a gearbox rebuild and, wanting the car to be absolutely perfect for him, he decided almost immediately to commission Claremont Corvette in April 2016 to rebuild the gearbox. Our vendor now states the car runs and drives superbly and invoices for all the work undertaken during its time in Italy and the UK can be found within the history file alongside manuals, history and title reports, NCRS communication and dating certificate, US certificate of title, Italian papers and UK V5C certificate.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1979 Porsche 911 / 930 Turbo by RUF BTR Transmission: manualMileage:147943Those that know Porsche, know RUF. As AMG is to Mercedes-Benz, RUF take already formidable driving machines and turn them into psychotic hooligans. In a small village in the Allgau region, west of Munich, is the home of RUF Automobile GmbH, a small company who, in conjunction with Porsche, has rewritten the rule books using their own very special font. Production began in earnest in 1983 with the first vehicle to bear a RUF chassis number, a 3.4 litre Turbo model pushing out 374hp through a RUF developed five-speed manual gearbox, arrived. It wasn’t just about raw power; a special instrument was developed, twin spark plugs installed, RUF harness, seats and steering wheel. These upgrades were all cloaked in a new RUF BTR (standing for Group B Turbo RUF) Turbo bodywork.RUF concentrates not only on engine, transmission and body, but also on wheels and brakes with RUF 17” forged Speedline alloy wheels complementing the model range as well RUFs classic four-pipe exhaust and 17” tyres (originally developed for the 959) resulting from a close co-operation with tyre manufacturer, Dunlop. The CTR followed, a lightweight coupé powered by a 469hp, 3.4 litre, twin-turbo engine. This ‘Yellowbird’ as it came to be known, set new benchmarks for street-legal, performance sports cars. It destroyed its peers such as the Ferrari F40, AMG Mercedes-Benz and even the works-tuned Porsche 959. It was in that same year that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) certified RUF as an automobile manufacturer in its own right. To this day RUF continues to source 'bodies-in-white' directly from Porsche to then produce bespoke sports cars to their new owner’s specification and with each very special set of characteristics. This early lefthand drive RUF BTR with a 3.3 turbo engine is believed to be one of between 70 and 80 examples bearing an original Porsche chassis number and the car still features on their website.First registered in 1979, this Porsche 911/930 Turbo was significantly upgraded to BTR specification in circa 1985 using original RUF parts. The plaque on the glovebox indicates the conversion was completed by the authorised Japanese RUF importer, Ishida Engineering, in conjunction with RUF HQ. Indeed, the RUF factory in Pfaffenhausen, Germany, has supplied a recent letter confirming the originality of all RUF parts and modifications.• RUF five-speed gearbox• RUF single piece forged Speedline alloy wheels (9x17 & 10x17)• RUF twin double tailpipes and exhaust muffler• RUF cockpit Turbo Boost Control• RUF Turbo body kit: deeper bumpers front and rear, and thicker-set side skirts,• RUF badged engine lid• RUF DTM grafted racing wing mirrors• RUF embossed steering wheel• RUF badged instrument cluster with turbo boost gauges• RUF embossed gear lever• RUF floor carpets• Ishida Engineering/RUF plaque on the glovebox• Original RUF specified Recaro racing bucket seats with harnessesSpecified originally in Grand Prix White, this purposeful-looking BTR is fully registered in the UK, fully serviced and comes with a full up-to-date MoT test certificate. Importantly though, it also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche themselves as well as a Certificate of Authenticity from RUF.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Transmission: manualMileage:95919With the introduction of the Giulietta in 1954, Alfa Romeo established the 'small car, big performance' formula that would characterise its finest offerings from that point on. The Giulietta's arrival caused a sensation; demand quickly outstripped supply, causing Alfa Romeo to rethink its production strategy and become a high volume manufacturer. Designed by Pininfarina on a modified Sprint coupé chassis, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider was the company's second post-war model. The little two seat Sports Spider was introduced in 1955 at the insistence of New York importer Max Hoffman, who saw how well small British and German sports cars were being received in America. The Giulietta Spider offered brisk performance (almost 100 mph) from its free revving, all alloy, 1.3 litre twin-cam four, mounted in a steel unibody chassis that weighed less than 1900lbs at the curb. The design was unmistakably Pininfarina exuding elegance and sophistication. This Giulietta Spider, chassis number AR 170763, was completed on 23rd August 1961 and sold on 6th September, 1961, to Alfa Romeo Inc. in Newark, New Jersey. According to records from Automobilismo Storico Alfa Romeo, it was originally finished in white, with either a red or black interior. While its earliest ownership history is currently unknown, it is believed that this beautiful little Alfa made its way to the West Coast early on in its life, which is where the previous owner acquired the car; it was then brought to Tampa, Florida. In Florida, the Giulietta spent the next six years serving as the mascot for the Tre Amici café in Ybor City, a historic district of Tampa. In 2012, the new owner subjected the Spider to a complete restoration. Work began on what was described as a rust-free body by the Florida Classic Cars restoration ship in Tampa. The body was taken down to bare metal and repainted in red, as it had been when acquired. All trim pieces were rechromed or replaced with new ones where needed, and the car also received all new rubber trim and body seals. The black vinyl seats were reconditioned, and the interior was trimmed with new carpeting throughout. Additionally, the Spider received a new matching black cloth top to protect its occupants from a quick downpour. The steering wheel is in excellent condition, as is the chrome horn ring, which has also been rechromed. The dashboard pad and controls are in equally fine order. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, the Giulietta Spider is one of Alfa Romeo’s most iconic post-war automobiles. Autocar magazine wrote that ‘there is no more desirable small sports car; it sets standards of performance, handling, and refinement that very few others can match.’ And we tend to agree. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300SL – 24Valve Transmission: automaticMileage:37286Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Based around a two-door monocoque bodyshell, its sophisticated, all-round independent suspension was augmented by a host of active and passive safety features including electronic stability control, ventilated ABS disc brakes, adaptive-damping shock absorbers, front airbags and an integral rollover bar that deployed in less than a third of a second if the car ever sensed an impending flip. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin included a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows/mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This lovely example is presented in silver with black leather interior and a black hood. The car is in superb condition throughout, particularly the bodywork which is unmarked. It comes with its factory hardtop and its black leather interior is in good condition. Presented with an MoT test certificate valid until June 2022 and with only 37,286 miles covered from new, this stylish Mercedes-Benz is offered with a reasonable reserve and still looks very ‘Hollywood’ with the hood down!Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1955 AC Ace Transmission: manualMileage:2An influential and widely imitated design, the AC Ace (and its Cobra derivative) could trace its origins back to a one-off sports-racer built by chassis engineer John Tojeiro for Cliff Davis in 1952. The success of Davis' Tojeiro sports-racer prompted AC Cars to acquire the rights to the design, which was put into production in 1954 as the Ace. The Davis car's pretty Ferrari 166 inspired Barchetta bodywork was retained, as was Tojeiro's twin-tube ladder frame chassis and Cooper-influenced all-independent suspension, but the power unit was AC's own venerable, 2.0 litre, long-stroke six. Designed by AC co-founder John Weller, this overhead-camshaft engine had originated in 1919 and with a modest 80bhp (later 100bhp) on tap, endowed the Ace with respectable, if not outstanding, performance. Nevertheless, in tuned form the Ace enjoyed great success in production sports car racing, winning its class at the Le Mans 24 Hour Race in 1959.In 1954 AC added a hardtop version - the fastback-styled Aceca - and both models later became available with the more powerful Bristol engine before production ceased in 1963. Towards the end of production, the Ace was also available with the 2.6 litre overhead-valve Ford Zephyr engine installed. Only 223 cars were delivered with the 2.0 litre AC engine compared with 463 Bristol-engined cars and a further 37 Ford-powered examples.Chassis number ‘AE44’ is one of the earliest production cars, finished by the factory in green body colour, trimmed in beige leather and fitted with the AC six-cylinder engine ‘UMB2102-H’. Supplied as Ex-Works on 31st January 1955 and brokered through Swanmore Garage, Bournemouth to its first custodian Mr. F Richards of Poole, Dorset. The next significant owner was Mr. H.E.M Russel of Danemoor, Malvern. He was the custodian of the car from 1975-1999, during this time it was solely used for gentle road use. Shortly after the car was marketed by The Car Centre in 1999, it passed to the most recent custodian who embarked on a, from the ground up, body-off restoration to the highest standard. Brooklands Motor Cars Ltd were approached to attend to all the chassis work for the motorcar, including local repairs whilst retaining as much of the original framework as possible. The rest of the restoration was kept to the highest standard including a full rebuild of the current engine ‘UMB1219’ by Tyler Motorsports of Kingstone, Hereford. Coachwork, paintwork and the upholstery were undertaken by AC Heritage Works, based at Brooklands. The period livery consists of a black leather interior paired with the period AC racing green. A fitting colour for the Ace as in 2019 it was the 60th anniversary since the AC works team won their class at Le Mans in 1959.We are delighted to present AE44 to the auction, it’s the first time this car has come to the market in two decades. 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:81935Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Based around a two-door monocoque bodyshell, its sophisticated, all-round independent suspension (double-wishbone front/five-link rear) was augmented by a host of active and passive safety features including electronic stability control, ventilated ABS disc brakes, adaptive-damping shock absorbers, front airbags and an integral rollover bar that deployed in less than a third of a second if the car ever sensed an impending flip. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin consisted of a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows/mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. We are delighted to offer this low mileage Mercedes-Benz SL320 in outstanding condition, finished in brilliant silver with a contrasting black leather interior. With only two previous registered keepers, the current vendor has owned this roadster since March 2014. In 2015, he had some corrosion issues taken care of, these were completed to a high standard by IN Autos Restorations Ltd in Surrey with an invoice price of £3,497. At the same time he had the underside cleaned and re-protected. Mechanically this car has been well cared for and the vendor has spent in total £11,125.72 throughout his tenure ensuring the car presents in as good a condition as possible. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate valid until 21st February 2022 and a good history folder. Representing superb value for money, this highly usable modern day sports car is already regarded as a design classic and rarely found in such exceptional condition.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1974 Triumph GT6 Mk. III Transmission: manualMileage:20910A fastback Spitfire powered by the 2000 saloon's two litre, six-cylinder engine, the GT6 arrived in October 1966 with production running until 1973. Like the Spitfire, it inherited what was essentially the Triumph Herald's chassis and running gear which had already proved capable of handling six-cylinder power when developed for the Vitesse saloon. A comfortable ride was considered vital for the all important North American market so the GT6 inherited the Herald/Spitfire's softly sprung rear swing axle although the latter arrangement would be superseded by lower wishbones on the GT6 Mk. II. At the same time the engine received a power boost courtesy of the TR5 cylinder head and 'hotter' camshaft, maximum output increasing from 95 to 104bhp. The restyled, last-of-the-line, Mk. III adopted the contemporary Spitfire's simpler 'swing-spring' rear suspension. Brisk performance (100mph+) and stylish, the GT6 well deserved its 'mini E-Type' sobriquet and today, is one of the most sought after post-war Triumph sports cars with only 13,042 Mk. III examples manufactured.Originally registered on 13th February 1974 this truly unique GT6 has been with the same owner since that date and due to being garaged its entire life and Ziebart treated from new is in stunning original condition throughout having covered only 20,910 miles. The lady owner purchased the car from new after falling out with her estranged husband who had similarly just purchased a new sports car; the purchase was impulsive and, although used initially, the car swiftly became a garage queen. It remained stored inside in a heated dry environment until around 2010 when the son decided to have it recommissioned, obtain an MoT and use it for local shows and days out. Millstream saw to the items required and since then the car has been maintained and on the road with the history file showing MoT certificates and invoices for servicing work. Today the car is possibly the best original GT6 you will find; a true time warp example and we are informed it starts and drives well every time the key turns. A rare sight on UK roads now, this is a genuine investment opportunity to acquire this unique car with low mileage, one owner and in superb condition. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1979 Ford Capri MK. III 3.0S Transmission: manualMileage:93540Production of the all new Capri was started a few months before its debut at the 1969 Brussels International Motor Show. The early start to production gave the marketing team at Ford the opportunity to leave examples of its new model parked near the entrance to 150 railway stations and outside prominent buildings. The plan obviously worked as initial sales exceeded the predicted demand by 100%. The Capri bridged the gap between a traditional two-seater sports car and the family saloon. This new eye-catching fastback style car was both new in its looks and offered a wide choice of engines ranging from 1.3 litre to a 3.0 litre V6. The Mk. III version was launched in 1978 and with a facelift which included quad headlights and wrap around bumpers that offered a more modern shape and improved dynamics which naturally improved the performance and economy. Although the Ghia model was the best seller of its day, the 3.0S was and is generally regarded amongst enthusiasts as the most desirable model.Originally registered on 1st August 1980, this stunning Capri is finished in the great colour combination of black with period correct Carla cloth interior. Subject to an extensive restoration which included taking care of all the bodywork, interior trim and an engine rebuild. This 3.0S is superb in every way; turn the key and fire up the three litre Essex engine and you are immediately greeted with the familiar sound of this great power plant. We are advised on the road this car drives as good as she looks, the manual gearbox operating smoothly and efficiently through the gears. Supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 22nd February 2022 together with a substantial history file including receipts for the restoration and engine rebuild. A perfect opportunity to own a British iconic classic, which is expected to appreciate over time.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Transmission: manualMileage:21500General Motors designer Harley Earl loved sports cars and was influenced by the GI’s bringing home MGs, Jaguars, Alfa Romeo’s and the like after hostilities ceased in Europe in 1945. Even the small independent carmaker, Nash Motors, began selling a two-seater sports car in 1951. Earl convinced GM that they also needed to build a two-seat sports car. Earl and his 'special projects' crew began working on the new car later that year which was code named 'Opel'. The result was the 1953 Corvette, which took its name from a small, manoeuvrable fighting frigate and was unveiled to the public at that year's Motorama Car Show. This superb left hand drive, manual gearbox example is presented in Polo White with silver panels and Sportsman Red interior with chrome five blade wheels and all appear to have been well restored. Upon import, the car was further improved, it was fully resprayed by a company experienced working with fibreglass and at the same time the suspension was updated, it is now fitted with a front suspension clip utilising later Corvette C5 components; this results in a far more modern and enjoyable driving dynamics, however, in the interest of originality the removed suspension set up and wheels are included in the sale. The original dynamo has been fully rewound and reconditioned and the points replaced with a Crane Carns ‘pointless’ system making for easier starting. By 1961, the C1 was at the end of almost 10 years of development and these very late, pre-Stingray, cars are probably the most desirable. It is supplied with a UK V5 registration document and several invoices.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda Transmission: automaticMileage:50380The Mercedes-Benz W113 roadsters, designed by Paul Bracq, were produced from 1963 through to 1971 and were known as the 'pagoda roof' SL. All models boast an inline six-cylinder engine with multi-port fuel injection. Rear-wheel drive configuration was complemented by independent rear suspension, a feature that greatly improved road handling. The 230 SL made a remarkable debut at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show in March 1963 where the famous German engineer, Fritz Nallinger introduced it as follows It was our aim to create a very safe and fast sports car with high performance which, despite its sports characteristics, provides a very high degree of travelling comfort”. Early or pre-September 1964 cars had a vertically mounted spare wheel that recessed into the spare wheel well on the left hand side of the boot. After September 1964, Mercedes-Benz did away with the wheel well, instead lying the spare wheel horizontally, compromising boot space commonly thus early cars were known as ‘drop floor cars’ which are desirable especially for those touring and wanting the extra space.Sold at auction by Historics to Pagoda restoration specialists in March 2020, this early ‘drop floor’ or vertically mounted rear wheel well, UK supplied, right hand drive matching engine and chassis car has had an interesting last 24 months. The result of a bad debt, it was repossessed by the bank (Santander) before being offered by Historics having been stripped and readied for restoration with some £10,000 spent in preparation. A specialist in Pagoda restorations, saw the potential in EYY 323B and set about a full nut and bolt restoration with circa £30,000 spent on the body alone which included sandblasting, four new lower corners, floor and boot plan before beautiful paint was applied. Due to health issues of the owner, the car was sold by Historics, partially restored, earlier in 2021 before being purchased and completed thus now offered as a fully restored example.Presented in Ivory with Midnight Blue leather trim, the engine has now been recommissioned and the final touches completed with new shocks and suspension components fitted, as such this is a wonderful right hand drive 230 Pagoda. HPI records reveal four previous owners and importantly, that it was registered in the UK from new, making this a factory right hand drive example which is particularly desirable; especially with the mileage which is believed to be correct. UK supplied Pagodas are selling well in excess of this attractive estimate, so we believe this represents fantastic value in such condition.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25 By Hooper Transmission: manualMileage:97610By the late 1920s the trend for ever-heavier coachwork on the Rolls-Royce 20hp had inevitably had a detrimental effect on performance. Rolls-Royce’s solution was to increase the comparatively small six-cylinder engine’s capacity from just over three litres to 3,699cc which, together with a stronger crankshaft allowing increased rpm, raised its output to 25hp. Over the past eight decades the 20/25hp Rolls-Royce has earned an enviable reputation of being among the most dependable, satisfying and highest quality pre-war models of all. Produced from 1929 to 1935, it represented the marque’s determined effort to move away from massive formal cars, routinely chauffeur-driven, to the newly-fashionable owner-driver market for the wealthy private owner-driver. Hooper Ltd earned the name ‘The King of Coachbuilders’, a title rightfully earned in 1830 after being appointed the royal warrant as coachbuilder to King William IV.Ordered new by Mrs. F M Houghton of Harrogate on 6th July 1935, chassis GBJ44, was delivered to Hooper Ltd on 21st August and was fitted with the four-door, sports saloon coachwork that you see today. Offered with its original build sheets and documents dating back to new, the first owner kept the car until 1960 when it was subsequently acquired by David Moncrieff. Acquired by its current vendor more recently, this Rolls-Royce is presented in very good order throughout and we are informed it is running and driving very well indeed. Renowned specialists, Ristes Motor Company have maintained the car on various occasions, with one notable invoice amounting to over £14,000. The exterior is finished in a deep Maroon/Garnet with black wings with a twin gold coachline accentuating the body lines. The grey hide interior is somewhat patinated but beautifully original and the woodwork throughout ‘CGF 298’ presents very well indeed. Offered with a sizeable history file detailing previous maintenance work, a Rolls-Royce owner’s club booklet, sundry invoices, old MoT test certificates and the UK V5 Registration document. If you are a looking for an imminently usable 20/25 in very good order, this example should not be overlooked.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:45228In 1975, the Jaguar E-Type finally gave way to an all new and more efficient Jaguar, the Jaguar XJS. This new luxury grand tourer, although never quite having the same sporting image as the E-Type, was actually more aerodynamic with the final example leaving the production line on 4th April 1996; at that stage 115,413 units had been manufactured during a 21 year production life. Power came from the Jaguar V12 engine with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission although the manual gearbox was soon dropped. V12 engine cars were unusual at the time with notable exceptions coming from Italian luxury sports car makers Lamborghini and Ferrari. The specifications of the XJS compared well with both Italian cars; it was able to accelerate to 60mph in 7.6 seconds and had a top speed of 143mph.This Jaguar was originally registered on 22nd March 1990 and presents in delightful condition. The Signal Red coachwork is unmarked as is the Magnolia interior. Having covered only 45,228 miles from new and with a good service history, it is clear that this has been a very well cared for motor vehicle. Recent servicing has been thorough with no expense spared and has included inner and outer track rod ends, track rod boot covers, a new rotor arm, a new window motor, four new rear springs, four new tyres and a full service, a new distributor cap, high performance ignition leads and spark plugs, a new battery and the air conditioning has been re-gassed. Turn the key and the V12 engine started immediately. Following the recent expenditure, we are advised the car drives with no known faults and the electric hood works exactly as it should. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full years MoT test certificate and the original service books. XJS Convertibles have been increasing in value of late, a low ownership example such as this, together with low mileage and in fabulous condition makes this a highly desirable Jaguar.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This sensational example was originally imported from Japan and is presented in Opal Black metallic (blue/black) with full black leather interior. The front seats are electrically adjustable with memory option and are heated. The headlights are Xenon with washer wipers and the interior trim has burr walnut. Its black hood is in great condition and it comes with its factory hardtop and its wheels have been upgraded to 18” AMG alloys, all of which are in superb condition. The car also retains a mounted car phone commensurate with its era however this is currently not in working order. The paintwork is original and is in exceptional condition and the car comes with a V5 registration document and its original handbook and owner’s manuals. This car with its very low mileage is probably one of the finest examples of this iconic sports saloon we have been offered and must be seen to be really appreciated.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1968 MG C Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:73000The MGC was the first 'high performance' version of the MGB. From early, in the design stages of the MGB, there was an intention to create high performance variants, using a range of Vee engines that did not make it to production. The MGC was much more than a tuned MGB, in fact it was a completely re-engineered car, but retained many visual connections to the MGB. On the outside, the MGC was often mistaken for an MGB as the only visual difference was the heavily bulged bonnet with a transverse chrome strip that accentuated the bulges, and the standard use of 15” wheels instead of the 14” used on the MGB. Inside, there were very few differences between the B and C, other than the 140mph speedometer and tachometer with a yellow and red banding, set against lower RPM than the MGB.Built in Abingdon Oxfordshire, this sporting version of the MGC presents well in the classic colour combination of Old English White with a contrasting red interior. The car was kept in storage for 20 years and has recently benefitted from some recommissioning. The DVLA record for this pleasant roadster shows only two previous owners with the most recent being since March 1987. Offered to auction with a V5C registration certificate, and in spite of its exempt status, an MoT test certificate valid until June 2022; this sports car is described by the vendor as tremendous fun and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.

Lot 258

1996 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Special Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:76500The Mercedes-Benz R129 models were produced from 1989 through to 2001 and were sold under the SL Class model names. The R129 replaced the R107 SL Class in 1989 and was subsequently replaced by the R230 in 2001. The R129 was based on the shortened floor pan of the Mercedes-Benz W124 saloon and featured many innovative details for the time, for example, electronically controlled shock absorbers (optional) and a hidden, automatically extending roll-over bar. The level of standard equipment was high, with electrically operated windows, mirrors, seats and convertible hood. The R129 came to public attention in 1991 when Diana, Princess of Wales, sold her Jaguar XJS to lease a J-registration, metallic-red 500SL, becoming the first member of the royal family to use a foreign car. This controversy sparked a media storm as it was questioned whether a member of British royalty should drive foreign cars. Media pressure eventually forced her to return the car to Mercedes-Benz in 1992 with whom it now resides in the Mercedes-Benz Museum. On offer here is a Mercedes-Benz 320SL Special Edition, finished in brilliant blue with a contrasting cream leather interior. The current vendor describes the car as being exceedingly pleasant to drive and a delight to own. Showing little sign of age, this Mercedes has recently been serviced and has been fitted with two new Continental tyres. Supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until July 2022, together with a good level of service history and a factory panoramic hardtop. Representing superb value for money, this highly usable modern day sports car is already regarded as a design classic.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 259

1963 MG B Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:98728Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB would turn out to be one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the 'B' carried on MG's traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with a heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer's increased weight the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1,622 to 1,798cc, while the MGB's aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just bested the magic 'ton'. A 'right first time' design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn) a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the 'B' enjoyed an 18 year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars. Its popularity remaining undiminished today, the classic MGB is one of the easiest sports cars of its era to run and maintain in the 21st Century, being served by a worldwide industry of spare parts and service providers.Registered on 1st February 1963, this MGB was previously treated to an extensive restoration in 1990 and has more recently been sat unused in our vendors garage. Presented in white over a red leather interior, this MG is offered in need of further renovation work although we are told the engine turns and the body is solid. Presented with a soft top, tonneau cover, UK V5C registration document and offered to auction without reserve.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 260

1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:90400The 560 SL convertible was the latest in Mercedes-Benz's long and much loved line of luxury sports cars. Launched in 1983 it could trace its lineage back to the 230 SL of 1963. The 560 SL was powered by a 5.5 litre, overhead camshaft V8 engine producing 227bhp, an output good enough for a top speed of 220kmh with 100kmh reachable in around eight seconds. There were improvements to the running gear in the form of anti-dive, anti-squat rear suspension, a limited slip differential and revised steering geometry. The 560 SL has a high level of standard equipment, included leather upholstery, anti-lock braking, an anti-theft alarm system, stereo radio/cassette, leather trimmed steering wheel, gear lever and an improved climate control system. This flagship Mercedes-Benz R107 is presented in Arctic White with matching hardtop and contrasting red leather trim and soft top. This example originally delivered to the USA was imported to the UK in 2018 and is described by our vendor as in good condition having benefitted from a recent full service with new brake discs and pads before the wheels were shod with four new continental tyres. Benefitting from an MoT until August 2022 and a good history file this is a great cost effective roadster perhaps perfect for that trip to the continent or holiday home or perhaps just taking advantage of that 5.5 litre Mercedes V8.Price Guide £12,000 - £16,000Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 268

2000 Nissan Silvia Varietta Transmission: automaticMileage:114600The S15 versions of the Silvia boasted 247bhp from its inline-four engine, thanks to a turbocharger upgrade and engine management system while the non-turbo SR20DE produced 163bhp. The body dimensions were reduced from the previous generation so that it would comply with Japanese Government compact class. The model line-up was initially simplified to just the Spec-S and Spec-R, both models offering an ‘Aero’ variant with a large rear wing and side skirts/valances. This generation of the Silvia was only sold in Japan, Australia and New Zealand but was available as a grey import in most other countries. In Japan, Nissan offered a retractable hardtop variant of the Silvia, called the Varietta. The Varietta was built by Autech,a subsidiary of Nissan, and was based on the Spec-S model, featuring the same naturally aspirated engine, with a choice of the five-speed manual transmission or the four-speed automatic transmission. This is a rare type of Nissan Silvia which is uncommon in most places as only 1143 cars were produced. This example, presented in metallic blue, is one of the very few Varietta examples that can be found on these shores.and was imported by our vendor for his wife incidentally also named Silvia in 2016. With one lady owner since import and a record of all maintenance, this S15 also has a heads-up display which provides the speed in mph. This two-litre automatic example comes with the SYL cherished number plate and boasts leather trim with heated seats and is described as in good condition throughout. With an agreed insurance value of £9,500 this is a rare and interesting sports car offered without reserve. Guide Price £4,500 - £6,500Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 270

1977 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Transmission: automaticMileage:76000Introduced early in 1971, this impressive two-seater sports car replaced the 280SL. The body and chassis of the third generation Mercedes-Benz SL was considerably heavier and longer than its predecessor but still showed a resemblance to them. The 3.5 litre, V8 engine underwent slight modifications to those being used on other models and the gear shift lever was placed on the floor in the centre of the car. The standard transmission provided a top speed of 130mph and a very respectable 0-62mph in 8.8 seconds. As with the previous generation SL's, the vehicle came as an open roadster with removable hardtop and went on to become one of the longest running styles from Mercedes-Benz. A range of engine size were available, one of the more powerful and rarer was the 4.5 litre unit.Originally delivered new to California in the USA, this example was imported to the UK in 2019. Now presented with a modern grey paintwork and contrasting but original leather trim and matching hardtop. This example has clearly seen some restoration works over the past 18 months by the previous owner which includes fully painting the car and some bespoke trimming coupled to a new rear box on the exhaust and additional sound deadening and carpeting. This restoration was fulfilled by the then owner rather than professionally, but the current vendor states the car runs and drives very well however it would benefit from some further finishing touches as the air conditioning is not currently functioning and there is a crack in the rear hardtop screen. The car is offered with three sets of keys, an alarm and MoT test certificate with the only advisories relating to the US specification lights. In this colourway, this Mercedes is a handsome example and priced at a ‘get in and go’ level not professing to be a garage queen, but a usable enjoyable classic offered without reserve.Guide Price £9,000 - £14,000 Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale.
