A 1957 Jaguar 3.4 Mk I automatic saloon, registration number 682 UYB, British Racing green. William Lyons new compact Jaguar would become available in 1955 with the 2.4 litre XK engine, and was conceived to fill the model range between the XK sports cars and the big imposing Mk VII. The public would have to wait until 1957 for the larger 3.4 litre version to become available, and with its 210 bhp engine it was a match for any sports saloon on British roads, with a top speed of 120 mph. This 3.4 litre automatic example was originally supplied by Brown's Garage, Bath, to its first lucky owner, a Mr Filpin. The Jaguar sports its originally supplied colour scheme of British Racing green with a Suede green leather interior as stated on the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The Jaguar has the desirable option of all round disc brakes and sits on colour coded wire wheels. The well appointed interior has recently been fitted with a new headlining. Jaguar's Mk I has seen a resurgence in popularity recently, with Mk Is taking to the race track in ever increasing numbers and a black example starring in the new Endeavour ITV detective series, prices have risen accordingly. The Jaguar is offered for auction with an accompanying history file. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations

A 1953 Austin Healey 100, registration number TDD 47, chassis number BN1 1140267, Healey Ice blue. The sensational new Austin Healey 100 caused a major stir when it was debuted at the 1952 London Motor Show. The all new Healey sports car was intended to be a low cost high performance sports car aimed squarely at the US market. The 100 sourced its major components from the Austin Atlantic saloon including the 2660cc four cylinder engine tuned to 90 bhp which when installed in the lighter streamlined Healey resulted in a genuine 100 mph plus sports car. It was equipped with a four speed gearbox with the bottom gear blanked off which with the overdrive gave five usable gear ratios. The Healey 100 is a muscular sports car for the purest and its performance was not bettered by its successor the 100/6 and was only surpassed when the Healey 3000 became available in 1959. This particular example has been in the vendor's possession for a remarkable 41 years. The car was registered on 1st September 1953 and is arguably finished in the best colour combination of Ice blue with a dark blue interior, the same colour combination as it left the factory. It sits on recently replaced chrome wire wheels with correct style tyres and has a desirable Sebring louvered bonnet fitted. We are advised by the client that he had the Healey resprayed in 1976 and the car still looks bright. Recent expenditure includes the fitting of an aluminium fuel tank and a general health check at a Healey specialist. With a believed genuine 69,000 miles on the odometer, this rare early chassis number Healey 100 is eligible for some of the world's most prestigious sporting events including the Mille Miglia, Le Mans Classic and Tour Auto to name but a few. Now coming to the market for the first time in over four decades this extremely original low mileage Healey is certainly a must for any serious collection. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See cover and other illustrations

The weather gear consists of a hood and full and half tonneau covers. The accompanying history file contains receipts for works carried out including new sills in 2009 and engine work in 2004 from MG specialists. V5C. MOT to June 2016 See illustration
A 1998 Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner limited edition number 75/100, registration number R2 PNO, chassis number SCBZF28C0WCH66873, engine number 8912L10M/TIT/R, green. The Brooklands R Mulliner was a strictly limited edition Bentley. A total of 100 were manufactured and featured some sporting features, including sports grille, side air intakes, 18 inch alloy wheels with 285/45 tyres, colour coded bumpers with chrome tops, a lower mesh front spoiler and some subtle improvements to the already opulent interior. This handsome example is finished in a very dark shade of green, which looks almost black in certain lights. The interior is opulently appointed with two tone tan leather seats and headlining, green top roll and matching carpets. R2 PNO has recently emerged from storage after a slumber of five years and will be freshly MOTd for the auction. ***The believed low recorded mileage of 49,000 miles is supported by service book which has now been found by the vendor.*** This limited edition Bentley now offers an opportunity to purchase one of the rarest of modern models at a very attractive guide price. V5C, MOT to February 2017 See illustrations
EDDY MERCKX 1975 TOUR DE FRANCE 'MOLTENI' YELLOW JERSEY Condition: excellent, complete with 'MIKO' sponsorship etc, Le Coq Sportif logo to sleeve and label to interior, back-pockets with buttons. Provenance: Jean Cormier / Clive Rowlands / Cwmtwrch RFC. Acquired by French sports-journalist Jean Cormier as a gift for former Wales rugby-player, coach and selector Mr Clive Rowlands . Mr Cormier visited Mr Rowlands in South Wales for an interview and when at Cwmtwrch RFC the sports-writer vowed to acquire an important item 'for the Cwmtwrch collection' and the Merckx jersey arrived shortly afterwards. Jean Cormier is a sports journalist who specialised in rugby and cycling as well as political biography. The 1975 Tour de France saw the legend Eddy 'The Cannibal' Merckx attempt his sixth victory, but there was huge controversy as the Belgian became a victim of violence from a member of the partisan crowd. Some French cycling supporters were more than anxious that Merckx would beat the record of five wins set by Frenchman Jacques Anquetil. Consequently, at stage 14 a spectator leapt from the crowd and punched Merckx causing him to fall and break a cheekbone. As a result French cyclist Bernard Thevenet took the lead and was the winner of the tour, Eddy Merckx came in second and Eddy Merckx did not win the tour again.
