The Second Part, Treats of Horsemanship, Hawking, Hunting, Fowling, Fishing and Agriculture..., 2 parts in one, 1st ed., 1686, imprimatur leaf, title printed in red and black, eighty-five (of 86) engraved plates (including allegorical frontispiece, lacking one horsemanship plate), woodcut illustrations to text, occasional closed tears mostly to lower margins, short worm trail and few small holes to throughout, light marginal dampstaining to last few leaves, attractive modern speckled panelled calf, gilt decorated spine, folio. Scherdt I, p.72; Wing B3213. According to Schwerdt ÒPerfect copies are rarely found... some of plates of arms, especially the 10th, and the plate of horsemanship, inscribed to Sir John Skeffington are often missing (both present in this copy). The `Gentlemans Recreation` contains an enormous store of information and is compiled in two parts, of which the former treats of geography and navigation, while the latter deals with field sports and agricultureÓ. Superb collection of a German gold medallist in 1932 and highly appealing for this interessted in Berlin sports.

With diploma ""Verdienter Meister des Sports"" in original casket (39x28x3.5 cm) with crazing effect diploma folder and diploma of 1962. Plus ID with honorary title ""Verdienter Meister des Sports"" 9x5.5 cm. Highest diploma an athlete could reach in GDR. With medal, diploma in folder and ID card. This combination will hardly ever be found. Dr. Rudolf Schramme was the head manager of the GDR swimming team and thus responsible for the successes of the GDR swimmers at the various Olympic Games. ID card and diploma as good as new. Medal slightly tarnished, case with small damage.

In 1995, Mario Basler ranked 3rd, the trophy was awarded to Matthias Sammer. As some would have liked Mario Basler to win the trophy, TV channel ""Premiere"" awarded this trophy to Mario Balser. German (GDR) Champions Cup 1958 Vorwaerts Berlin - Champions cup made of aluminium for the GDR football champion engraved ""DEM DEUTSCHEN MEISTER 1958. ASK Vorwärts (Berlin). Deutscher Turn- und Sportbund"". Height: 28 cm. The German Gymnastics and sports association, being the higher ranking organisation of DFV (German Football Association of the GDR), awarded this prize to German football champions on an annual basis. In 1958, players of ASK Vorwärts Berlin received this prize. From the collection o fGDR internation (one international match) and starter for ASK Vorwärts Berlin (199 first league matches) Hans-Georg Kiupel. Kiupel was GDR champion five times, played there from 1955 to 1968 and became team manager from 1968 to 1970. Some small scratches.

LEEDS CITY 1919 A tear-jerker for all Leeds fans, excellently framed newspaper, sports edition of the Sports Argus, Saturday 4th October 1919 with a full match report on Wolves v Leeds City. This was the last Football League match ever played by Leeds City which they won 4-2. The Club were suspended from the Football League a few days later due to wartime financial irregularities and their place was taken by Port Vale who continued with their fixtures for the remainder of the season , and a new club , Leeds Uinited were formed and re-entered the League the following season with , ironically , their first match being against Port Vale.. The newspaper provides all the results for the day and repoprts on Villa, Blues, Albion and Wolves v Leeds City , also mentioned is a report on the likelihood of Leeds City being suspended. Black frame, white mount, paper itself is worn along folds. Measures 60cm x 77cm (24 " x 30"). Generally good
