A North American plains Indian percussion trade musket, adapted from a French model 1842 military musket, using all original metalwork on a replacement stock, 45” overall, barrel 29½” with “1842” visible on the tang, the back action lock engraved “Mre de St Etienne”, three quarter stocked with brass mounts and sling swivels, the butt plate regimentally stamped “17.G2”, the butt decorated with rectangular pattern of brass and a few iron studs, with original rawhide sling. GWO & basically GC (worn from much use, the fore end contemporarily repaired with raw hide band and lead plugs, the hammer with crudely brazed repair, the ramrod a replacement).

A metal/brass kit built O gauge electric Drummond class T9 4-4-0 tender locomotive. A ‘Greyhound’ in Southern lined green livery, RN289, fully detailed with sprung buffers, hand rails, detailed footplate, driver and fireman, complete with its 4-wheeled ‘Watercart’ bogie tender. VGC minor wear, light cleaning required. Plate 1 Note: This model is based on one of 5 examples (285-289) that came out of the Nine Elms factory in London in 1900, the second year of production. They were put into service by LSWR, Southern and in later life by BR. Production stopped in 1901 with one, 30120 in preservation.

A large and impressive late 1930’s Meccano model of a 4-6-4 tank locomotive. A shop display created in the style of a Baltic tank locomotive as operated by the pre-grouping railways in the UK Made with bright blue and gold hatched plates and gold painted sections. The model is a metre long and is presented on a simple wooden base and features operating motion and wheels. VGC some light wear. Plate 1 Note: The model comes with period typed information stating that this model was displayed in 1938 in Hamleys, the famous London Toy Shop based in Regent Street.

A Prussian 1915 model Jager zu Pferd enlisted man’s helmet, of blued steel with steel spike and Dragoon eagle plate, the inside of the skull stamped “C E Juncker 1916”, the underside of the “lobster tail” rim stamped 256.5”, with large officer’s pattern rosettes, and leather chinstrap and lining. GC (some light surface rust, the lining worn and with small patched repair, minor dents to skull). Plate 2
