^ A Pearlware Model of the Medici Lion, circa 1810, naturalistically modelled and painted, its left forepaw on a yellow ball, on a shouldered rectangular marbled plinth27cm longTail with a large section broken and re attached honestly but with overspray. A very large firing imperfection on the top of the lions mane, over painted at the time of manmufacture. Teeth repaired. Firing crack to the rear left leg and underside of the animal. Chips to the underside rim of the plinth. Glaze crazed. Some flaking to the black enamel.
