Other Notes: A total of 1,147 Model 1878 revolvers were made in .455 Eley.

PAGET'S HORSE', lanyard ring, and traces of original blued finish (some areas of pitting and discolouration throughout, two chambers slightly deformed), in brown leather flap holster marked 'HOBSON & SONS / 1899 / LONDON'. Other Notes: Paget's Horse formed the 19th Battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry. They were raised in 1900 and fought in the Boer War.
