An Extremely Fine and Rare First Generation Exotic Red Racing Speedmaster Professional Chronograph Wristwatch, signed Omega, model: First Generation Professional Speedmaster Red Racing, ref: 145012, made in 1967 and sold with Original Guarantee Booklet dated 18/8/1970, (calibre 321) mechanical lever movement signed Omega Watch Co and numbered 26541091, column wheel chronograph movement, dust cover cap, exotic racing black dial with painted Omega logo in white, outer five minute red and luminous hour baton markers, outer fifth of seconds track, three dials for seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, seconds, minute and hour red hands, buttons in the band to operate chronograph, tachymeter 500 scale bezel, screw back with seahorse logo and stamped inside with maker's mark Omega Watch Co and case makers initials HF for Huguenin Freres, reference number 145012-67 SP, Omega stainless steel bracelet with deployant clasp stamped 1039 and 1/72, end links numbered 516, 42mm wide, with Omega boxes, original guarantee booklet marked purchased at Bagshaws of Liverpool on 18/8/70Condition report: Case and bracelet with surface scratches, case sides and lugs with minor dents to edges in parts, bezel edge with small dents, bezel tachymeter scale with minor scratches in parts, four bracelet links next to the clasp have been later replaced and the clasp date number is 1/72 and this replaced in the early 1970's due to damage, original dial finish is in good condition, luminous in the hands is discoloured, hand setting correctly, winding smoothly, chronograph is working correctly, movement is clean, movement in going order.

A Regency Mahogany and Ebony-Strung Square Piano, by William Stodart & Son, Makers to His Majesty and The Royal Family, Golden Square, London, early 19th century, the hinged lid above a rosewood and fret-carved panel above forty-three ivory keys, with gadrooned border, on turned and reeded tapering legs with brass capped toes and castors, 170cm by 67cm by 86cmCondition report: Restored by Johannes Secker of Lythe. CD available showing restoration work. New strings and pitched to concert pitch (A=440).The keys are yellowed but in working order. The case varies in condition (see images). There are various scratches (some deep). With a watermark and some small sections of veneer missing, including a larger section of veneer which needs re-gluing (we do have this piece but a small gap will still be visible after re-gluing this). Though there is a fine split to the left-hand of the case (see image). The lid also has some faults/traces of rubber to protect the pivoting section of the lid. The keys are working correctly. The pedals and soundboard have some splits (see image).

In his Northern Ceramics Society article Some Rare Porcelain Harlequins, Dr Bradshaw suggests that the source for the model may be an anonymous Ausberg engraving of around 1700, also used at Meissen around 1750. Bradshaw states that a set of the engravings was sent to Count von Brühl, director of the Meissen factory, by his friend Count Johann Charles von HennickeCondition report: Some restoration to brim of hat, right arm and shoulder, left hand and slapstick. Some flakes to base and extremities.
