A 19th Century Hungarian Cavalry Officer's Sword, the slightly curved, single edge, pipeback, spear point blade, length 86 cm, the obverse engraved crest and image of the Virgin Mary and inscribed, ''Patrona Hungaria Virgo Maria'', the reverse with further Latin inscriptions, and images of a mounted cavalry officer and patriarchal cross, the steel triple bar hilt with scrolling quillon and folding guard, wirebound fishskin grip (scabbard lacking); and a Model 1882 French Light Cavalry Sword, the fullered single edge blade, length 87 cm, the back inscribed, ''Mre. d'Armes de Chat. Juillet 1885 Cavrie. legere Mle.1882'', the ricasso with maker's initials DB and other marks, the brass triple bar hilt similarly stamped and numbered 44033, wirebound leather grip (scabbard lacking) (2)Hungarian - Blade with overall light rusting and pitting. Hilt similar. Small areas of loss to fishskin. French - Blade with overall light rusting and pitting. Blade with minor scratching and dings commensurate with age and use. Otherwise good.

Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit (Stealth Bomber) Interest: a collection of items pertaining to the career of Flying Officer William McGuffie, R.A.F., comprising two Oerlinghausen R.A.F. Gliding Club wood trophies, one as a cigarette box, surmounted by a model of a Horten Brothers Flying Wing glider, the rectangular base inscribed and dated, ''W. MacG. 1946'', the other, surmounted by two model gliders, and a collection of photographs and ephemera pertaining to the recipient Note: The Horten Brothers, both members of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War, designed a revolutionary series of aircraft for the Third Reich based on the Flying Wing concept. Some of these aircraft were based at Oerlinghausen. At the conclusion of the war, one prototype example, the jet-propelled Ho 229 V3, attracted particular interest from the Allied forces, its construction properties allegedly rendering it invisible to radar. The original aircraft was shipped to America where it formed the basis of research, culminating in the design of the Northrop Grumman B-2 SpiritAll items in good condition
