Two Sutcliffe tinplate model warships painted in grey and red, the smaller with name decal 'Grenville', the larger with removable top and the smaller with screwed on top, both with stamped manufacturer's marks, the larger approx 39cm in length (2). CONDITION REPORT: The larger appears to have been repainted, some flaking to the paintwork, some small areas of corrosion, some very minor areas of splits or small damage.
A group of model boats/ships of varied size and form to include a Fleischmann tinplate passenger ship painted in cream, black and red with propeller and rudder, length 34cm, three further tinplate ships/boats and submarine, three Norse longboats including a pewter example, a silver plated three masted galleon type and later plastic submarines, etc.
A boxed Victory Industries 'Miss England' model speedboat in chrome and cream livery with original instructions, length 34.5cm, a boxed Thomas Mayers 'Super-Jet' speedboat in chrome and red livery and a similar loose example (3). CONDITION REPORT: Miss England box worn, super-jet speedboat box (af), surface wear to the models throughout with chips to the paint and small areas of corrosion.
A group of six tinplate model ships to include examples by Arnold, Ives Toys and Rattandeep Enterprise with two further ships marked for Germany and Bavaria respectively, also a Lehmann tinplate climbing sailor toy (af) (7). CONDITION REPORT: Varying degrees of surface wear, flakes to paintwork and areas of corrosion throughout, Lehmann toy will require attention, but sailor does move limbs when pushed gently up or down. P&P within the UK will cost £22.50 + VAT. There have been some areas of repainting and 'tinkering' to the boats.
