A FRENCH MODEL 1767 GRENADIERS SIDEARM, 59.5cm curved blade, regulation two-piece cast brass hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard with Inspector's stamp for Louis Antoine Gau de Vaumarin, ribbed brass grip, contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the upper mount struck with an anchor, together with a Continental sidearm. Scabbard lacking on the latter. (2)
