A boxed plastic model of a Porsche 935 in 1:12 scale containing 'Daviess County Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey', generally G+ in F/G box together with a mixed group of diecast models including a Bburago Porsche 356B in 1:18 scale, overall models appear G+/VG in boxes ranging from G to VG. (5)
Two boxed James Bond related Corgi Toys, 269 Lotus Esprit, model loose in pack, six missiles attached to sprue and three in situe on vehicle, generally G/G+ and a 649 Space Shuttle, missing Satellite, otherwise G. Both come in F/G boxes with crushing to plastic windows.(2)
A boxed Corgi Toys 267 'Rocket Firing' Batmobile, the 1973 issue of this model with chrome hubs and clear glass. Batman and Robin figures are both present however the aerial is broken, otherwise appears G+ in generally G/G+ box with some undulation to the plastic of the window box. Present with the model is the original instruction envelope together with a sprue containing ten yellow rockets and one detached, there is also an operating instructions sheet and a cloth badge.
A boxed tinplate and plastic Cragstan battery operated wired remote control model of a Ford Thunderbird, whilst untested, model appears G, with clean battery compartment in a F box. Also included in this lot is an unboxed large plastic model of a Car Dashboard with steering wheel, approximately 60cm wide and missing parts, working features untested although battery compartment appears clean. (2)
Ten model tanks, mostly unboxed in a variety of different scales and of tinplate and plastic construction this lot includes examples with both friction and clockwork mechanisms as well as a 'Modern Toys' Japanese r/c example with battery operation. The b/o models are untested and appear to have clean battery compartments except for the large launcher carrying 'Saturn' and 'Titan' rockets, which does have slight corrosion. (10)
A boxed battery operated figure 'The Drinking Captain' by S&E (Japan). Although untested, the model appears complete with a clean battery compartment in P/F box with some tape repairs. Two similar style unboxed toys are also included in this lot, Charley Weaver having a clean battery compartment, the other figure having some corrosion.
Ten unboxed tinplate and plastic space related toys in a variety of different scales, including both Chinese and Japanese examples with battery operated, friction or clockwork mechanisms. The b/o rocket model is untested and does have some damage although the battery compartment appears reasonably clean. (10)
Six boxed cars of tinplate and plastic construction by Minster, Joustra and others including a Japanese clockwork tinplate model of a Volkswagen 1600TL together with a small quantity of unboxed tinplate, plastic and diecast vehicles. Condition of models and packaging, where present, varies. (30)
Nine boxed Carlton talking action figures, five from the Thunderbirds TV series and four from Captain Scarlet, together with a boxed Captain Scarlet torch and a vehicle set, a carded model of a Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle and a Ban Dai Thunderbirds action vehicle set. All appear G+, though untested, in G+ boxes. Also included in this lot is an unboxed Thunderbird 2 alarm clock and over twenty unboxed miniature figures and vehicles.
Four different boxed Dr Who Radio Controlled Dalek models,each approximately 32cm tall, and a boxed Voice Interactive Dalek (44cm approx), all untested however appear G+ in generally G boxes. A boxed Radio Controlled 1:4 scale K-9 model, loose in box and untested is also included in this lot. (6)
Eleven boxed diecast model cars in various scales including Minichamps Tempo Dreirad Canvas and Hanseat 1952 models in 1:18 scale, a Mondo Motors Fiat 500 twin model pack in 1:24 scale together with models by Polistil, Solido, Bburago and others. Overall models appear G+/VG in packaging ranging from F to VG. (11)
A Meccano Hornby clockwork O-gauge tin plate playworn engine and tender, in MLS livery, engine no.1185, with key, and a collection of diecast model railway figures including staff and passengers in a "Hornby Series Modelled Miniatures No.3 Railway Passengers" box.
Louisa, The Marchioness of Waterford (British, 1818-1891), A Mother and Child Standing in Front of a Red Curtain, watercolour over pencil, inscribed to verso 'Crookham Jan 7, 1878 Monday'. Note: The village of Crookham is situated a couple of miles away from Ford, the model village designed by Lady Waterford.
