WW2 Royal Air Force C-Type Flying Helmet and MK VII Goggles, the leather C-Type flying helmet is a 2nd model example which remains in very good condition. Rubber ear cups are present but no wiring loom or headphones. Chamois lining to the interior remains in excellent condition. Accompanied by a pair of Mk VII flying goggles with blue painted frames. Frames marked with Air Ministry crowned AM and stores reference 22C/826. Fitted with strap to the reverse. (2 items)
Rare WW2 Russian Model 1936 (SSh-36) Steel Combat Helmet, the shell with its flared sides and top comb retains nearly all of its original field green combat paint finish to the exterior and interior. Centre of the helmet has red painted Star with Hammer and Sickle to centre. Complete with the later leather sweatband and cloth lining with webbing chinstrap. These helmets were worn in the early part of the Second World War (Great Patriotic War) before being replaced by the more common SSh-39 and SSh-40 models. Very good example of this scarce WW2 combat helmet.
WW2 German Afrika Korps Pith / Sun Helmet, being a 2nd model example in olive felt. Metal eagle and tri-colour decals to the side. Leather trim to the brim of the helmet and original chinstrap. Interior retains the original leather sweatband and felt lining. Some wear but generally good condition.
RAD Officers Dress Dagger with WKC Factory Tag, standard model RAD officers dress dagger with white celluloid two piece grip. Dagger is a late model and has lost much of the plating. Blade remains in mint condition with motto “Arbeit adelt”, WKC makers trademark to the base of the blade. Hanging from the handle is the original paper tag for the maker.
Imperial German Body Armour (Sappenpanzer), 1st model type complete with the three hanging steel shields. Mixture of original and replacement pads to the reverse. The armour has sadly been re-painted post war in a camouflage paint finish which resembles that used by the Imperial German forces.
Impressive Scratch Built Model of HMCS Snowberry, finely detailed model having a tin based hull painted in camouflage style, figures of the crew and gun emplacements etc. Rigging and features all intact. Mounted onto a painted sea base. Housed in a wooden display case with clear acrylic sides. To the bottom of the case is “HMCS SNOWBERRY”. Dimensions of the casing 92x32x43cm. HMCS Snowberry was a flower class corvette who originally was built for the Royal Navy but during WW2 she served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a convoy escort ship in the North Atlantic. DUE TO SIZE AND FRAGILE NATURE ALL SHIPPING OF THIS LOT WILL BE CONDUCTED BY MAILBOXES TUNBRIDGE WELLS OR IN-PERSON COLLECTION.
Imperial German Regimentally Marked Model 1898 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and cross guard. Housed in its original leather and steel mounted scabbard. Pipe back blade with central fuller, dated 1903 to the spine. Tip of the blade rounded. Blade made by Simson & Co SUHL. Top scabbard mount stamped “65 R 5 28” for 65th (5th Rhenish) Infantry.
Three Chinese silver pepperettes, first half 20th century, one hexagonal, the sides embossed with bamboo and flowering branches, 6cm high, the other two embossed with dragons chasing flaming pearls and a sterling silver model of a basket with thatched roof, 9.5cm across, 4ozs weight combined (4).

MICHELL TURNTABLE - originally a Michell Gyro Dec upgraded by the previous owner with an Orbe Clamp kit (this included a full Michell service at the time of upgrade and the parts removed are included in the lot). The turntable features an SME model 309 tone arm (with original box) and a Transfiguration Spirit MK3 cartridge/stylus (with original box) and a Michell HR power supply unit. The lot includes the invoice for the upgrade.
