DUKE CHARLES: (1935- ) American Astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XVI. The tenth man to walk on the Moon. Signed colour 10 x 8 photograph of Duke standing in a full-length pose, wearing his white spacesuit, on the surface of the Moon. A Lunar Roving Vehicle can be seen in the distance. Signed by Duke in bold black ink to a clear area at the centre of the image, adding Apollo 16 in his hand beneath his signature. Together with Edgar Mitchell (1930-2016) American Astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XIV, the sixth man to walk on the Moon. Signed colour 10 x 8 photograph, the image depicting Mitchell standing in a full-length profile pose during his moonwalk of 1971. Signed by Mitchell in bold gold ink to the image, adding 'Apollo 14' beneath his signature. Also including Walt Cunningham (1932- ) American Astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XII. Signed in bold black fountain pen ink with his name alone to the lower border. Slight traces of former mounting to the verso. Together with Lewis Harcourt (1863-1922) British Politician, committed suicide as revelations of his sexual deviancy were about to be made public. Vintage signed postcard photograph, the image depicting the M.P. seated in a three-quarter length pose at a desk. Signed in black fountain pen ink with his name alone to the image. Also including John Profumo (1915-2006) British Politician whose career ended in 1963 after a sexual relationship with the 19-year-old model Christine Keeler in 1961. T.L.S., John Profumo, with holograph salutation and subscription, one page, 4to, London, 9th March 1989, to Mrs. J. Hind. Profumo thanks his correspondent for her letter, continuing, 'What you had to say is most encouraging at a time like this.' Written six days after the release of Scandal, a film which chronicled the Profumo Affair. Accompanied by the original envelope. G to VG, 3
