A stunning oyster silk 1960's evening ensemble consisting of a tailored large polka dot pattern evening coat. The coat bears a classic 1960's design, to the front and reverse of the coat displays a large beautiful bow. The coat has 3/4 length sleeves and a scoop round neck. The dress is silk and silk chiffon, sleeveless and bears a matching silk polka dot bow design to the centre of the dress, the skirt is constructed in loose pleated chiffon. A very finely engineered scratch-built 5” gauge live steam model of a LNWR (London and North Western Railway) Jumbo 2-4-0 tender locomotive, No. 1045 ‘Whitworth’, constructed by an award winning model engineer and based on original Crewe drawings of the Whitworth Class (otherwise known as the Waterloo Class). The model has a specialist built copper boiler with injector and hand pump water feed with detailed brass cab fittings and a woodblock cab floor. The cylinders have the correct sloping slide valves and Allan straight link valve gear. The model is finished in satin finish black paint with accurately applied and finely finished authentic lining. A detailed brass number plate to the cab side and the LNWR shed plate is fitted to the rear edge of the cab roof. The exterior of the locomotive has extensive and accurately aligned rivetting.
