An enamelled silver table clock, The Magnus, by Archibald Knox, the case with pierced swing handle and enamelled ten silver and blue flower heads, the fused enamel dial with tempus fugit chapter ring, retailed by Liberty & Co, model No 5024, the case baring Birmingham hallmarks for 1902, 15cm (6") high. A Hutschenreuther porcelain nude maiden, balancing on a gilt sphere, printed mark, paper label, model no. 1666/1, 33.5cm high. Provenance: Alex Moore; by family descent. Alex Moore (1901-1991) was a pioneer of modern ballroom dancing, a dancer, dance teacher and author of classical ballroom dancing books. Alex travelled extensively, teaching ballroom dancing all over the world. He received the Carl Alan Award and was awarded the MBE. He collected items on his travels such as these figures whilst visiting Germany.
Ferdinand Preiss (1882-1943), two cold painted bronze and ivory figures, of a page boy holding a casket and a girl with the key, signed in the maquette 'F. PREISS', on octagonal marble plinths, 16cm and 14.5cm high overall (the girl with one key remaining) See Catley, Brian 'Art Deco and other Figures' Woodbridge 1995, p. 268 for an illustration of these model

John Ward (1917-2007) - Pen, ink and wash study - Lightly draped female model, 13ins x 16.5ins, signed in full and dated 1951, in oak moulded frame and glazed. Provenance : Bears label to back "New English Art Club", with the artist's name and address - 71 Glebe Place, Chelsea, SW3, price 10 guineas. Provenance : From the Estate of the late Gordon Davies
John Bratby (1928-1992) - Oil painting - "Girl in a Garden with a Blank Easel" - Full length double portrait of a naked model standing in front of an easel and canvas, canvas 60ins x 36ins, apparently unsigned, in cream painted and moulded frame and glazed. Provenance : Complete with letter dated Dec.6th 1992 from the artist relating to the picture, apparently painted 1964-1966 in the Studio of the Coach House, 7 Hardy Road, Blackheath, making reference to the model - "Dumb girl, brother golf pro., she fainted - malnutrition and exhaustion", etc. Exhibited at the Millinery Works, London, November 1991, and also at Southampton Art Gallery (unknown date). Illustrated on Page 92 of the biography - "Bratby", by Peter Davies, published November 2002 by Old Bakehouse Publications
