A 14 bore Swiss Model 1842 military percussion holster pistol by Beuret Freres, Liege, 14" overall, barrel 8"; the flat lock stamped "Beuret Freres Liege" in semi circle; walnut halfstock with no provision for ramrod; regulation brass mounts, the butt cap with lanyard ring; every part stamped with small crowned "BF" mark. GWO & C (small fracture to stock below lock, nipple slightly flattened, lacquered finish over light rust, some screws replaced). Plate 4 .

A 6 shot .36" British Military issue Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, number 15497 (1855), with London address, the left side of the breech bearing traces of WD stamp, with steel trigger guard and backstrap and walnut grips. WO and basically GC (heavily cleaned overall, no cylinder scene visible, barrel wedge replaced, the backstrap appears to have been renumbered) .
