An elegant 18 carat gold cased gentleman's wristwatch, signed to the 30mm white enamel dial for the luxury boutique brand Bueche-Girod, a Swiss company in existence from 1947 to around 2000.Case back has model YG 10700-1 and serial number 80218, inside case has assay marks for 18 carat gold (weight 8.2g), 17 jewel manual wind mechanical movement marked for Bueche-Girod, on a black leather band and in a red leather presentation box from Bagshaws of Liverpool - Estimate £250 to £350
A 1937 New Imperial Model 46 De-Luxe, registration number HL 8578, frame number 35307, engine number 43210, maroon/chrome. New Imperial were unsurpassed for innovation during the 1930's introducing models with full unitary construction of the engine and gearbox and pivoted fork rear suspension to name just a few innovations. They also found great success in competition, with one of their many successes being the last British built machine to win the lightweight 250 TT (in 1936). The 350 cc Model 46 was introduced in 1936 along side its 250 cc Model 36 stable mate. They both featured new overhead valve unit construction engines. Initially they were both built with rigid frames, for 1937 the De-Luxe gained sprung rear frames, foot change gearbox, mag-dynamo ignition/lighting, chrome plated fuel tank and valance mudguards. This Model 46 De-Luxe was built in 1937 and was first registered in December 1939. A matching numbers machine which has been rebuilt by our vendor from a basket case, retaining as much originality as possible, but will require some final fettling. Noteworthy works carried out included the rebuilding of the engine with new big and main bearings, re-bore with new piston and rings, reconditioned oil pump, rebuilt magneto, new Burlem Amal carburettor, new exhaust downpipes and silencers, powder coated frame, rebuilt wheels with new bearings, stainless steel spokes and new tubes and tyres, plus numerous other components. The motorcycle will be offered for auction with a history file containing receipts and a letter from the vendor outlining works carried out. A 1927 AJS K2 799cc V-Twin combination, registration number MW 1040, frame number K61002, engine number K2/45939, black. AJS founded in 1909 by the Stevens Brothers in Wolverhampton manufactured a range of quality machines. The first V-Twin was added to the model range in 1922 in 631cc configuration. A V-Twin would then form part of their range going through various capacity increases right into the early 1930s finally finishing with the 998cc version. This fine K2 combination comes direct from a deceased estate. Painstaking restored to an extremely good standard it had formed part of a cherished private collection. The AJS has seen little use recently so it is advised that some light recommissioning is undertaken before taking the combination on the road. A 1955 Triumph Tiger T110, registration number NAX 787, frame number S63779, engine number T11063779, Shell blue. The Tiger T110 was Triumph’s top model in 1955, with a top speed of 110 mph. They featured unit construction with a 650cc OHC vertical twin engine with alloy cylinder head, a four speed gearbox, Amal carburettors and a 120 mph Smiths concentric speedometer. This T110 has been in long term storage forming part of a small collection of British motorcycles. The Triumph is offered direct from a deceased estate and will require recommissioning. It is still presented in generally good condition with the engine turning freely with strong compression. A 1960 Norton Dominator 99 600cc, registration number VCJ 844, frame number R1487865, engine number 87865, red/cream. Introduced in 1956 to complement the 88 500cc model, the new 99 had 100 mph performance with road holding to match. Initially available with the wideline featherbed frame, in 1960 both models would benefit from the new slimline frame which was used until the production run finishing in 1970. This matching numbers 99 from the first year of slimline production still retains its original registration number and comes direct from a deceased estate where it formed part of a small collection. Having been in dry storage for some time it will require recommissioning and the usual safety checks before resuming road duties. A 1965 Triumph TR6 SS Trophy, registration number FYL 54C, frame number TR6SSDU23654, engine number TR6SSDU23654, white/red. The TR6 Trophy is probably best known for its big screen roll in the Classic film The Great Escape staring Steve McQueen where he tries to escape the clutches of the German army on a heavily camouflaged example dressed to look like a dispatch riders BMW. The Model also found great success in the United States were they acquired the nick name Desert Sled for their successes in desert racing and enduros winning top events such as the Big Bear Run, Hi Mountain 200 Enduro and Barstow to Vegas. This matching numbers TR6 has formed part of a private collection since 2004. An older restoration which still presents very well the Triumph has been drained of all fluids and been on display for some time so will require some light recommissioning before resuming road duties and comes to auction with an accompanying history file.
