An Austrian silver mounted table centrepiece, Eugen Pflaumer, 1909, formed as a vase-shaped cut-glass body, domed cut-glass cover mounted with female figure holding gem set floral garland above malachite beading, the silver borders set with lapis lazuli amid scrolling vines, detachable silver mounted wood base with conforming decoration set with opal, coral, tigers eye, jet, lapis and malachite, the base also incorporating a light bulb box to send light streaming up through the cut-glass body with a gem-set boss as a switch, inscribed 23 Dezember 1909 Von Julius und Emil Zur Feier Eurer Silberne Hochzeit.
