A Baccarat garlanded pink clematis paperweight, 19th / early 20th century, the flower with purple petals and a white honeycomb stamen with central red star, eight leaves and flower bud below, all within an outer alternating white and bottle green cane garland, with star cut base, 2¾in. (7cm.) diameter., *Condition: One tiny chip and a few minute frits from base edge. Some small scratches and tiny nicks to surface of glass to top. No other faults.
A 19th century Swiss silver mounted cut glass condiment pot, Switzerland Bear mark for Bern, struck twice, maker's mark 'FB' in oval, struck twice to base, the circular base with Greek key design to rim, the stand raised on three hoof and leaf feet, terminating in winged angels on upper legs, the hobnail glass jar fitting snugly, the lift off lid with central flower design, topped by lifting ring, 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, weight without glass 5 tr.oz., *Condition: the jar with chips and nibbles to rim, possibly later hallmarks, otherwise good.
A Victorian oversized goblet form cranberry and clear glass vase, the ovoid cranberry bowl with engraved fern leaf decoration and engraved inscription, 'A Birthday Present to Mr. Hiram Syson Burslem Feb. 22nd 1879', on hollow hourglass stem and foliate scroll engraved plain foot with ground pontil, 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high; together with a Victorian cut glass tazza, 8¼in. (21cm.) high. (2), *Condition: - Goblet vase: VG - minor scratches around edge of base. No other faults., - Tazza: Shallow chip to inside edge of rim.

Heavy scratching beneath. Bowl VG., - Facet cut stem with petel cut bowl: Small chip to underside of base and tiny chips to other corners. , - Pr. plain square base: One with several small base chips, the other with tiny base frits., - Smaller plain square base: Three small base chips and several frits to base., - 4 x round base: All very good with no faults.
A Georgian silver and cut glass swing handled butter basket, French, 1st half 19th century, the octagonal tapered basket with serpentine rim and corner cutting, the shaped handle with chased foliate decoration, 5in. (12.75cm.) long; together with a similar cut glass and silver swing handled condiment pot, 4½in. (11.5cm.) high plus handle; and two late Georgian cut glass bowls with later silver pedestal mounts, the larger 7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) diameter. (4), *Condition: - Butter basket: Small chip to one corner of rim. Otherwise good., - Condiment pot: One ball foot mounted onto a large chip to the base (probably a later repair), and small chips/cracks around the mounts of the two other feet. Tiny chip to top edge of glass. No other faults., - Tazza: Small chips to several of the downturned petals to rim. Silver mount unmarked, probably later, has two dents to edges., - Small pedestal salt: A couple of tiny frits to glass, otherwise good. Mounted slightly askew on base. Small ding and tiny split to edge of silver base.

A 19th century yellow metal, garnet and seed pearl double portrait silhouette mourning brooch, with a small portrait silhouette of a lady in profile to the front and similar portrait of a gentleman verso, both with painted highlights, beneath bevelled glass, within a border of eight oval cut garnets with outset trios of seed pearls, 30 x 28mm., pendant loop verso., *Condition:Scratching and a few tiny frits to glass. Stones and seed pearls appear all original and are undamage. Hinge strong to pin verso.
A late 18th century French School portrait miniature in jewelled frame, Elisabeth Charlotte Pauline de Meulan, later Guizot (1773-1827), authoress, first wife of Francois Guizot, French statesman, wearing a white lace trimmed dress and blue shawl, gold ribbon waistband and pearl necklace, holding a pen in her right hand, oval watercolour on card, signed with initials 'M.P', inscribed 'Pauline de Meulan 1773' in pencil verso, within a pierced interlaced silver frame set with rose cut diamonds, the reverse with rose gold mounted glass panel with ivory silk, 5.5 x 4.3cm. overall.

Exquisitely bound in full crushed red morocco with colour panels and elaborate gilt detail, cut glass inserts, gauffered gilt edges, patterned endpapers, brass clasps, binder's name in gilt ('Chatelin'). Illustrated with incredibly vibrant woodcuts heightened with gilt. A bold and impressive publication, reminiscent of illuminated manuscripts of the 14th and 15th century (Reiss based the work on examples he had studied in the former Vienna Court Library and in libraries in Bavaria). Scarce. Contents very good, clean, and bright, very occasional pale spotting; binding very good, tight and solid, a couple of little spots of wear at spine. Housed in a worn morocco solander box
