Edwardian silver mounted cut glass claret jug with embossed and pierced silver spout and collar, the ovoid body with diamond cut decoration. Birmingham 1905. Height 22cm.The stopper fits perfectly although it does have a small chip to to the collar and is numbered '2', the rest is in good order, see extra images

The crown of the lid somewhat crooked, the ribbon damaged, signs of age and use.

An Elizabeth II Silver-Mounted Cut-Glass Claret-Jug, by Roberts and Belk, Sheffield, 1975, the cut-glass body tapering, with plain silver mounts, the hinged cover with baluster finial, the angular scroll handle capped with a grotesque mask, 30cm highFully marked on neck mount and further part marked inside cover. The marks are clear. There is some minor surface scratching but in general in good condition. The silver mounts are heavily tarnished and may require professional cleaning.
