A pair of 19th century hobnail cut glass lidded decanters, each with pineapple shaped stopper. Height 31 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The first decanter, the stopper has been significantly damaged and repaired so is discoloured throughout the bottom half, there are also two 3 mm approximately in diameter chips to the base, these are to the side of the decanter and are visible just when it is placed on a table. There is also as you would expect scratching and wear to the base of the decanter with age. Overall, the structure is sound. The second decanter also has signs of wear to its base, no significant chips and is structurally sound.
A Georgian Irish oval wall mirror, with cut glass studs. 73 cm x 58 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Two of the faceted glass cabochons are missing, others are discoloured. The outer frame is in generally good order with only minor stress fractures to the ebonised finish. The inner raised moulded ebonised section has more prominent stress fractures to the ebonised finish which should be visible on our images. The inner slip has minor nibbles and minor stress fractures. The mirror plate appear to be original and is in generally good order with only minor signs of perishing.Two of the faceted glass cabochons are missing, others are discoloured. An Edwardian gold doublet and diamond set hollow oval bangle,a tapering top half, star set with garnet-and-glass doublets and rose cut diamonds, to a rope twist edge, with a plain lower half, concealed box catch and safety chain, tested as approximately 9ct gold, internal dimensions 60 x 50mm, 9.45gCondition ReportDents and previous repairs visible to the lower half. Surface mark/scratches, and wear to gilding.Scuffs and scratches to the box.
A pair of ruby glass table lustres with painted floral and gilded decoration, the drops of clear cut form 17 cm diameter x 35 cm high together with a circular glass dome on ebonised socle stand together with another matching socle stand 48 cm high x 23.6 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Table lustres - whilst basically sound, there are some areas of chipping to the rim, some pre-gilding, some post- gilding. See images for detail. One of drops particularly damaged to the base with loss. Several with small chips - visible upon close inspection. Several with chips to the ends. The dome with some slight chipping to the bottom edge. The ebonised socles with wear and tear conducive with age and use and some sun-bleaching to the fabric surface.

A LARGE PAIR OF LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUSSIAN ORMOLU MOUNTED AMETHYST CUT-GLASS VASES after the model by the Imperial glass factory. The ovoid faceted bodies with diamond cut bands and scrolled handles with gilt mounts and pineapple finials, supported on square reeded bases with ormolu plinths raised on circular feet57cm highThe vases are in good un-damaged condition, with no breaks or chips to the main bodies, the inside of the glass bodies have multiple crazing cracks to the coloured inner sleeve, this doesn’t go through to the outer parts. The gilt ormolu castings are in good condition, one stem has small casting hole faults, see extra images uploaded on line. The vases look to be 20th century in date.

A FINE PAIR OF LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY BACCARAT ORMOLU AND CUT GLASS COMPORTS with swirled dished glass tops supported by putti; mounted on shaped glass bases23cm high 24cm diameterOne of the glass bowls has a tiny chip on the edge, which could be very easily ground out, only noticeable by rubbing your thumb over it. On one of the bases, there is a tiny microchip to the top corner edge of the glass base which is again very hard to see. The gilding is in good condition and there is no other damage or restoration.
Scottish Regimental Dirk of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, fine example of an officers dirk with baluster rootwood grip with silver plated mounts and carved with a basket weave style set with white metal studs. Facetted cut glass amber coloured top pommel. Housed in its leather covered scabbard with silver plated mounts. With the scabbard are the original knife and fork set which again have the cut glass tops. Blade of standard form with finely etched details of foliage and one side having the Argyll boars head and the other side the Sutherland crest. Some surface staining to the blade and light wear to the exterior but generally a good example of a regimental dirk. Probably of Victorian or early Edwardian vintage.
